How many people in this country die from lack of health care? Damn few. If you are uninsured and get in a car accident, you are still going to the hospital. It might bankrupt you, but they aren’t going to refuse treatment. You might not get the BEST treatment, e.g. a lot of reconstructive surgery, but your bleeding will be stopped, your broken bones will be set.

No wealth, earned by the sweat and toil of one man should be confiscated by another to provide for
a third.
If the government be given this power it will increase its benevolent theft in size and scope until both are broke and dead!

Good point but trigger may be appropriate, also, as in gun to the head of Insurance Companies and Nancy Peeloosi, Dingy Harry and Presidente Pinnochio’s finger on the TRIGGER!

Let em have a trigger and Private HealthCare, Health Insurance is DEAD, as in shot in the head!

This is not about healthcare. The communists own Banks, Investment firms, car companies, and are picking off the wealth of this country one institution at a time.
Its Insurance next with Healthcare being the means to their ends. Destroy private insurance and nationalize Insurance Companies vast wealth putting millions more on the unemployment rolls!

After that Cap and tax will control all Companies and what wealth is left.

Remember when McCain sold out and signed on to TARP? The Dims danced and declared Capitalism and free enterprise dead! Indeed McCain, who had the microphone and power to stop it, and some other RINOS, slammed a nail in the coffin.

Evidently he’s concluded that the liberals in the House mean business about not supporting a bill that lacks a public option so he’s going to promise them one down the road, whether via the “trigger option,” some alternative plan, or more treacherously, the simple legislative inertia towards expansion once a government program is up and running. No wonder Harry Reid and Obama’s union cronies are suddenly talking up compromise.

Why doesn’t he just lie about what is in it? That seemed to work during the election season.

Bloomberg is reporting that B.O. may try to revive his healthcare plan in the way he knows best……by instilling a sense of crisis into the situation.

so, Obama doesn’t know the difference between Legislative and Executive powers now? Shouldn’t law creation be left to the two houses of Congress?

This is a guy who couldn’t be bothered to write a meaningful law when he was a legislator, because he was spending his time trying to get to the white house. Now he wants to get out of the white house and start writing laws?
