I watched Beck for the first time today, and yes he’s emotional but he presented clips from Jones himself. Then he asked people to contact their elected officials.

Sounded pretty reasonable to me.

Glenn Beck is from radio so he’s developed many of those voices and expressions and such to AUDIBLY emphasize his points and create caricatures of that which he wants an audience to perceive as such…

So, adapting to a television audience has carried forward all of that but now we see it visually, so that’s where the “exaggerated” expressions and such come from, from radio, times when that degree of elaboration was necessary to communicate without the visual.

I agree that at some times (though rarely) he’s excessive visually but Beck ALWAYS gets information across that no one else is covering at the outset and his use of visuals and those comedic voices and such don’t bother me.

I’m glad you’ve tuned into Beck’s program. I try to watch him daily and I especially now appreciate it that Fox has him on rebroadcast at a later hour (or at least my cable provider does — he’s on in the afternoon and then rebroadcast later in the night).

Has anyone asked McCain about this man??? Does McCain believe that he has nothing but a political disagreement with this man??? Will someone ask McCain if he thinks this man,, this close adviser to the President respects the constitution???

This man and those who are with him,, want one thing. They want to crush and destroy us. They want to take our homes. Take our children. Take our property, our very lives if they could!
This is not a time for sleep. This is not a time for leisure. We must stay awake every moment and watch and listen at every opportunity. This is bigger than just our jobs or even the economy. This is about our nation,, our lives and our future as a free people. If America turns,, what will happen to the world???
Never has more depended upon average and normal people. Moms and dads. Barbers, doctors, mechanics, truck drivers and others. Forget Republican leadership. There is none. It is up to the people. Up to all of us.
If celebrities can make a fool of themselves by pledging service to a manchild like Obama.

Well , we each need to make our own pledge to maintain this nation for our children, for the next generation and yes,, for the world. Quite honestly,,, I pledge it all. I have little,, but what I got is going to whatever I can do,, great or small, to defeat these morons. To see that they fail. Because if they succeed, it’s all gone anyway!

This guys story needs to be placed right in the WH press office’s lap, followed by some good old fashioned citizen outrage and pressure on various Congresscritters to crack this fool, or nothing will ever happen.

Krauthammer etc. were saying on the Bret Baier program that Van Jones would certainly be gone after the weekend. I was amazed at their cluelessness. Haven’t they been paying attention for the last year?

It means nothing that Fox News is all up in arms over the fact that Van Jones is a communist. So what? The president is a communist as well. We’re all socialists now, right? Welcome to the new America!

Naw, this bunch won’t have any Gulags, there won’t be any Whites vs. Reds battles, no Strelnikov/Trotskys masterminding the war against the forces of Reaction.

They’ll merely bore us with their Newspeak, entertain us with their internal power struggles and squabbling, but continue to astonish us with their total disconnect with reality.

Broun, R-Athens, apparently has not changed his belief that President Obama may be a fascist since he made similar remarks in Augusta in November and then in an Associated Press interview.

He told a meeting of the Morgan County Republicans on Wednesday night that Obama already has or will have the three things he needs to make himself a dictator: a national police force, gun control and control over the press.

“He has the three things that are necessary to establish an authoritarian government,” Broun said. “And so we need to be ever-vigilant, because freedom is precious.”

There is something terribly wrong with this guy.

Surrounds himself with radicals & racists, hides his questionable past, backsteps, sidesteps, outright lies to the public without even trying to explain his lies. Tries to force a bill through congress that he hadn’t even read, no matter WHAT the consequential fallout to every single US citizen, left or right, etc, etc, etc…….

There is something terribly wrong with this guy.
