Via Greg Hengler. I don’t know if it’s because Rice is doped up on painkillers or if he’s just naturally serene, but he’s shockingly chill about what happened. No lawsuit, no regrets about showing up (“freedom isn’t free”), and when Cavuto asks him how losing a finger will change his life, all he can say is, “I guess I’ll have to take different piano lessons or something.”
Here’s a photo of the alleged attacker; I’m afraid to ask whether he swallowed or not. Exit non sequitur: When Rice says “He ate my finger,” I felt like Nicolas Cage at the beginning of “Raising Arizona” listening to his convict pal. “You ate what? You ate sand?”

This is similar to a situation we had once on the farm when a worker was bitten by a wild animal. We were told we would have to kill the wild animal and take the carcass to the lab to see if it had rabies. Since we couldn’t find the skunk that bit the poor guy; he had to take the painful rabies shots! That biter needs to be found quickly and sent off to the lab! Just guessing that he probably was Rabid!

Cavuto is great. One criticism of the interview however. Why do Conservatives adopt the language of the left? Cavuto kept referring to the government seizure of the Health Care Industry as “Health Care Reform”. The socialization of a private industry is not reform.
The left intentionally and maliciously distorts the language. Pro-choice, Affirmative Action, Climate Change, Undocumented Workers, and on and on and on. Many Conservatives then adopt these term and try and argue on the leftists’ terms. When we surrender the language we are surrendering a significant portion of the argument.
Sorry for ranting on Cavuto. I don’t think he is consciously doing it. He is just so cowered into being politically correct that adopting the leftist language is instinctive.

I’m not too worried about the “gay vote”. I would be surprised if more than 10% of the population is gay, and gays would not necessarily vote as a block.
McDonnell is ahead by about 10 points as of yesterday.

Didn’t see it mentioned here yet, but a call into Rush’s show from a person claiming to have been there stated apparently the MOVEON.ORG THUG did INDEED INTENTIONALLY cross the street over to the anti-Obamcare protestors side, and SPECIFICALLY TARGETTED the oldest/weakest looking man (65 year old), got in his face yelling, and the punches were done in DEFENSE by the 65 year-old did at that time. The THUG, who was standing in the street, then pulled the 65 year old off the side walk into the street, at which time the victim apparently threw another punch, and his finger was bitten off.
Now mind you, having watched the video, this guy is obviously very modest, and appears to be perhaps overly non-confrontational. In otherwords, the caller on Rush’s show sounds like a more accurate telling of the story.

If this victim had open carried, he would NOT have been the target selected by the Obama bloodsucking bully who followed Obama’s command to confront an opponent and “get in his face”.
And don’t throw in the Obatomy line that the victim would have escalated his response, being armed, with gunfire. Not this particular victim. He was physically AND verbally accosted by an aggressor who crossed the street to get in his face. He told the guy to back off, and defended his personal space as well as his personal identity with his fist, the traditional REAL man way to self defense when confronted by a bully who won’t back off. He got dragged into the street and had his finger bitten off. Having his finger bitten off, he dropped his guard for medical treatment, and has determined to turn and run the next time an Obama bully approaches him.
That’s one way to find resolution, give it up to God.
So when the aggressive Obama bully is the one providing medical care, give it up again?
No. And shame on the police for not having had a patrol keeping an eye on the publicly announced protest. And SHAME ON OBAMA for advising his supporters to be violent.

The fact a felony battery occurred and a man is harmed for life seems to get by many of the talking heads. Mark Steyn on Rush’s show found it even a bit giddy.
When I was an active police officer I had a very serious rule, if you tried to bite me, spit blood on me, or for the love of God take off an appendage, you would run the risk of getting tazed or even shot.
HIV, Hep, and other blood borne pathogens are rampant in the population. Getting mutilated is NOT part of the contract agreed upon by anyone, nor his being infected with a disease that will kill you slowly.

According to an eyewitness account, the liberal crossed a street, a median, and another street, to confront those opposed to Obama care. He got in the old mans face, despite the fact there were several other men around, who were of like age, and build, but the liberal chose the old man. So if this 65 year old took a swipe, after being called names, confronted without cause, and assaulted…so be it.
By your words, I have to wonder…..how many swipes at babies, children, and puppies would you take, to get your point across?

Yesterday in Ventura Calif. one of our heroic supporters of ObamaCare taught some astroturfing, unpatriotic, racist, Nazi, tea bagger a lesson he won’t soon forget.
Our
goon thugvaliant warrior for justice put his own life at risk by walking across a busy street to confront an elderly old fart in glasses who dared to oppose Obama’s plan.In the process of re-educating this malcontent he dragged the geezer off the sidewalk and into the street. In an act of unprovoked aggression the old man raised his hands to cover his face and our avatar of tolerance had no choice but to bite his pinkie finger right off.
Let this be a lesson to all who oppose Obama. Our zombie army of voters don’t just come out on election day. Let us all take a blood oath to teach these tools of Big Tonsil the value of a government health plan. They all need to spend some quality time in the ER.
