The information comes from the Center for Responsive Politics, which in a recent study concluded that the president’s new nominees for ambassadorships to Belize, Belgium, Liechtenstein, Romania and Switzerland “brought in at least $1.1 million for Obama’s presidential bid as bundlers, and at least another half-a-million as bundlers for his inauguration. To date, this brings the contribution histories of Obama’s ambassador nominees to roughly $1.8 million in donations since 1989. The 19 ambassadors that CRP has found in our campaign contribution database, along with their spouses and children, have given more than $98,200 to Obama personally, bundled at least $3.4 million for his 2008 presidential run and bundled another $1.4 million for his inauguration.”

What’s NPR going to be “surprised” about next,huge deficits,tax increases,hiring lobbyist,continuing Rendition-indefinite detention-enhanced interrogation-state secrets.

If NPR had not been walking around with the rest of the MSM chanting “Obama”…”Obama”…”Obama” during the campaign and instead actually investigating their messiah,this type of corruption would not be such a surprise.

Yes. Great place to live. Right on Lake Erie about 20 miles east of Cleveland. The only drawback is a lifetime of disappointment following Cleveland sports teams. To borrow a quote from Ben Stiller at the end of Dodgeball.. “F***ing Chuck Norris John Elway”

100% of the career state department “civil servants” are leftist nitwits, so when there is a conservative in the White House, he/she should give every single ambassadorship to supporters, thus providing both our allies and those we wish to watch carefully with Ambassadors who hold the same worldview as the President.

When a liberal is in the White House, he/she can do whatever they wish, as their know-nothing supporters, political hacks that they might pay back, and the State Department hacks all hold the same Euro-weenie, anti-Israel, terrorist-coddling worldview as the White House liberal.

So the rest of the world gets exactly what American voters have voted for, either way. You can’t possibly believe that the State Department boneheads are any better than the scumbags Obama is appointing…can you?

I could not care less that NPR is tepidly disappointed in Barry. If the best they can come up with to criticize is a couple of crony appointments, then they aren’t paying attention. They’re watching the house burn, and wringing their hands over who is going to mow the lawn.

Really, had they bothered to educate themselves, how could they be the least bit surprised at what is now unfolding?

Umm, didn’t we EXPECT that, and more, from his appointments? Why should we believe his promise to be no worse, when he already broke his promise to be better?
