Surprise: Even MSNBC thinks Levi Johnston’s a lying scumbag

Well, the daytime anchors and guests do; doubtless Olby and Maddow find him to be a fresh-faced, charmingly plainspoken truthteller. Ace already destroyed the fallacy at the heart of the new Vanity Fair hit piece and I don’t have much to add, but it’s worth noting that Johnston’s scumbaggery has now reached such gargantuan proportions that you can see it all the way from England:
Hang on a minute: this is the grandmother of his son. Whatever you make of the Republican politician, she doesn’t come off worse in this lazy, base ‘exposé’ – Johnston does. And how is he going to explain this interview to his son one day?…
Yet, perhaps Vanity Fair is more at fault here, with its peculiar obsession with savaging Sarah Palin. Having incessantly aimed vitriol at her looks, her ‘narcissism’, her ‘aggressive’ personality and caricaturing her into an elk-shooting bimbo, it has started scraping the barrel. And this time its instrument of choice is Johnston, a teenage scumbag who would put his ego before his child.
That about covers it. If you’re hungry for more, C4P has a long post listing the many, many, many lies Levi’s told in his 15 minutes of fame. Golly, that 2008 election just keeps on paying dividends, doesn’t it?

You know, as much as I don’t want to sink into the slime bath of liberals, I have to say it: I wish he’d go to New York or Detroit and just GET THE LIVING HELL MUGGED OUT OF HIM. I wish some thug around his age would just MUG the HELL out of him, and leave him in a gutter for the garbage man to find and take pictures of. He thoroughly deserves an ass-beating for his asinine, libelous, slanderous and doubtlessly untrue accusations against Governor Palin, and her family. Walking through the streets with a face that looks like a steak that somebody took a meat-tenderizer to might be the first step in him learning to shut his yapper.
However, the story of his beat-down would make for a pretty humorous Vanity Fair article.

Bob Seger has nothing to do with Ford F-150 pickups, though I’m sure he’s driven a few. Seger licensed his song, Like A Rock, to Chevrolet, not Ford. Yeah, to elitists like you all those dumb Detroit companies are all the same (funny how Toyota and Nissan keep swinging and missing when they try to compete in the pickup segment – even Chrysler makes a better pickup than Toyota), but Like A Rock was the theme for Chevy Silverado commercials, not ads for the Ford F-150.
When asked why he licensed the song to Chevy, Seger said that lots of people who build those trucks buy his records and tickets to his shows and if he can return the favor by helping to sell a few trucks, he’s happy to do so.
In any case, you’re way out of date. Chevy’s switched to John Mellencamp’s This Is My Country. I’m surprised that you didn’t know that, since Mellencamp is as confused about politics as you are.
