Hot Air TV: Jason Mattera undercover at a town hall meeting

posted at 11:32 am on September 1, 2009 by Michelle

He’s baaack! It’s been too long since our YAF/Hot Air TV special correspondent Jason Mattera’s last video production. But he teamed up with YAF intern and cameraman Adam Tragone to give us a special glimpse into the world of Obamacare supporters at Democrat Rep. Jim Moran’s recent town hall forum in Virginia.

Enjoy it, you “selfish people!:”

Did you make sure to watch it to the very end? Commune Dude is priceless.

“IT owns the clothes.”

You don’t like capitalism? Fine… Your fired you worthless piece of $#!+. Every socialist p***K in this country who hates capitalism should be kicked to the curb. Identify and punish the whole smelly lot.

Does anyone buy that guy’s claim he makes a million dollars a year?

I do, I fully believe that he earns a million Zimbabwe dollars and gives it all away! No, you guys don’t buy that explanation? You just don’t have enough faith in humanity, I bet next thing your going to tell me is that the government really doesn’t care about me…

Tim Burton on September 1, 2009 at 4:27 PM

“Our President believes in the Constitution.” LOL! These morons wouldn’t know the Constitution if came up and bit them on their collectivist asses.

Great video. The silliness delusion of liberalism in all its glory.

NebCon on September 1, 2009 at 3:19 PM

Fixed.

infidel4life on September 1, 2009 at 4:31 PM

This morning on an earlier HA post it showed an HCAN worker passing disruption instructions to supporters with the chant of the day, “Health Care Now”. It seems from the backround in this clip that dissemination through the ranks is complete. Must be indicative of their “authentic” grass roots nature I guess.

I cannot help but be amused with the synthesis with “Animal Farm”, where whenever someone wanted to question the pig Napoleon’s instructions or explanations, all the sheep would take up the chant “2 legs bad, 4 legs good!” Does anyone else seee this similarity as well?

Just sayin.

Archimedes on September 1, 2009 at 5:14 PM

Love that getup.

MadisonConservative on September 1, 2009 at 5:48 PM

Commune dude: I give away all my money! Everybody else should too to take care of people who won’t be responsible for themselves!

That’s not charity, it’s tyrrany.

Charity comes out of choice. He’s made his choice, but he wants to force everybody else to make the same one he did.

His million dollars of giving goes twice as far as that same million in the hands of the government, so why let the government handle it? Who knows. Maybe he thinks if we get to that point all the world will hold hands and have peace!

PastorJon on September 1, 2009 at 6:07 PM

leftists are such dorks. Mattera makes easy dupes of them.

Black Adam on September 1, 2009 at 6:50 PM

Did I hear that wrong, or did Commune Dude say he didn’t need any of those things, including health insurance?

taznar on September 1, 2009 at 7:03 PM

Hippie dude says “It owns the clothes, the nonprofit we are a part of.”
So he has set up a nonprofit, tax exempt organization that he is living off. Probably has ins, etc. that he has access to through that. I don’t know how that would work, or if it is possible. I bet the IRS would be interested, though.
He is a liberal leach sucking off donations made by deluded morons.

jbinnout on September 1, 2009 at 7:11 PM

Does anyone buy that guy’s claim he makes a million dollars a year?

I do – the guy’s name is Patch Adams. He’s a lunatic pediatrician in Arlington, VA and was the subject of a Robin Williams movie in 1998. Probably does make a million $US a year.

Still a commie, though.

Filecchio on September 1, 2009 at 7:28 PM

Filechio….nice catch

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patch_Adams

Yep a loon but hey if HE wants to give away his money…let HIM have at it

It would be interesting to see two philosophically pure countries side by side- one truly liberal/left and one truly conservative/right.

It would be interesting to see how things went in each nation. How would the limousine libs, Hollywood libs, and other assorted elitist Dems, along with their voter base, fare in their liberal utopia?

I picture it as akin to some obnoxious, pampered, rebellious, parent-hating teenagers being ejected from the nest and left to fend for themselves.

The people in that video are those teenagers.

Commune man would be as disgusted by some fat cat CEO, Attorney, or Entertainer. He is nutty but I think he is the real deal.

CWforFreedom on September 1, 2009 at 7:49 PM

Oh, the relief and joy that I would feel as the Obamas, Pelosi, Reid, Frank, Rangel, Streisand, Penn, Olberman, Dowd and all the rest of their merry band set sail for their new utopia.

“Enjoy your communes, socialized medicine, gun control, political correctness, confiscatory taxes, and whatever other mayhem that you will inflict upon each other.”
“Please don’t visit.” “Don’t write or call.” “Don’t even think about asking me to send money.”
“And don’t let the door hit you on the way out.”
“Bu-bye.”

justltl on September 1, 2009 at 7:59 PM

Dude. Balls.

LOL

“It owns the clothes” guy is the real Dr. Patch Adams who Robin Williams made famous in that movie. He goes around preaching liberal dogma on campuses. He’s an anti-war guy.

If any democrats actually hold a meeting in my area I’m going to gorge on Hungarian sausage with cabbage and dark beer and sidle up to the loudest supporters of this lousy legislation.

The smoke must have been thick…poor Jason.

yoda on September 1, 2009 at 9:21 PM

That was funny. He’s hilarious as a liberal. I’m a crazed, right-winged terrorist, and I’d be his friend, even though he wants me crossed out.

Let’s get more videos like these! Great work. Very entertaining.

Mustache-hippy dude sez:

“I make a million a year…..I give it all away, I own nothing. I have no property, no savings, NO LIFE INSURANCE, NO HEALTH INSURANCE.”

Words fail me.

guitarguy on September 1, 2009 at 1:53 PM

If he does not need health insurance, why does everybody else? He shot his argument in the the foot.

cobrakai99 on September 1, 2009 at 10:52 PM

LOL…that was great!

Wonder if any IRS agents saw that video and now have a keen interest in Commune Dude’s (self-reported) income?

Dr. ZhivBlago on September 1, 2009 at 11:29 PM

VIDEO @ 4:44- Hippy dude that lectures: 1 million, “Point out to me any women here that are’nt hot”? Jason: Right here. PRICELESS hehehehehe

lol..

being honest with them.

DaveC on September 2, 2009 at 8:55 AM

When is the left going to understand they are in left field and need to get a new perspective on life

MSGTAS on September 2, 2009 at 10:42 AM

“He’s recording you.. The camera”

“He’s documenting all the conservatives here.”

His follow-up:, “CIA, no?”

It pains me to believe people are that uninformed. Let’s run with the assumption that our foreign intelligence runs operations, on US soil, to gather information on domestic dissent. That’s OK with this guy?

Ben Franklin called. He endorses the shutter shades and a rasta cap as an official (but never acknowledged) uniform for covert, right-wing operatives. He also reminded that we can give back the Republic, if it’s too difficult to keep.

JCred on September 2, 2009 at 12:04 PM

Last two words made me laugh out loud: “Right here.”
Great video!

ElainaVer on September 2, 2009 at 12:34 PM

Tall white-haired man who gave away everything but his shirt. It’s obvious no one wanted that shirt but him. lol

ctmom on September 2, 2009 at 9:55 PM

Did anyone notice the “old man” was Patch Adams, wearing a $1200 shirt and $400 tie.
Also notice the idiot leftist woman saying that Article 10 gives Congress the authority for healthcare…there are 7 Articles in the Constitution, further proof that leftists should NOT be allowed anywhere NEAR the Government.

nelsonknows on September 3, 2009 at 4:43 AM

Moustache dude was Patch Adams? Haven’t we seen him at other rallies?

bikermailman on September 3, 2009 at 8:20 AM

This is a fantastic video. I can’t wait to show it to my family.

Yeah, they’re greedy: they want us to keep our money, too.
