Glenn Beck to Michelle: Is Obama building his own massive civilian national security force?
posted at 7:48 pm on August 27, 2009 by Allahpundit
She doesn’t get to address the subject head on, but then Beck doesn’t address head on what he thinks the purpose of this shadowy force might be either — although I can certainly guess. Did he offer some theories on another part of the show? Let me know in the comments, Beck fans. While you watch, food for thought: If The One can’t even get his cultists to go knocking on doors in support of his signature policy issue, how likely is it that the U.S. military has anything to fear from marauding hordes of O-bots?
I’ll say this for him: The man knows how to build an audience.

Nice try, troll, but if you really watched Beck you would know he considers himself a libertarian and is just as critical of the GOP as he is of the Democrats.
Disturb the Universe on August 28, 2009 at 2:32 PM
The scary thing about Obama is his vagueness. In his infinite hubris he does not seem to feel the need to clarify what his meanings are to We The People.
ReneePA on August 28, 2009 at 2:40 PM
Right. Then how come he NEVER calls out any of the conservatives he’s so “critical” of?
Spenol on August 28, 2009 at 2:47 PM
He’s definately focused on Obama and liberals now. Your party won, remember? If you had bothered to pay any attention to him prior to Obama’s win, you would have heard him critical of Bush and other Republicans.
Disturb the Universe on August 28, 2009 at 2:51 PM
Sorry, but how can you NOT think that’s what the man is doing. Hell, he’s taken over damned near every sector of the frigging country he’s looked at and now he’s even looking to get his grubby mitts on the freakin’ Internet!
For heaven’s sake, I’m beginning to think this is how they must have felt as they watched Hitler’s new group come together in Germany. They didn’t think HE was going to do what he did either and look what happened.
SHEESH! WAKE UP, folks! Yes, Beck can be nutty about stuff and way over the top. But I think his concern in this case is valid. It most definitely bears concern from the people of this country!
Look how quickly this man has taken control over so many things. He’s not been in power a year yet he has the power to hire and fire in the auto industry, he’s let the banking industry know he’s willing to do the same there, he now controls terror interrogations from the White House, etc.
I just don’t get how you can say he’s not making for complete control of everything, up to and including creating his own domestic police force which he has already admitted in the past would be a great idea?

It’s not even his country. He’s from Norway and posting from Europe (or so he claims).

Are you telling me that I’m not worthy to criticize a borderline insane, substance-abusing professional demagogue like Glenn Beck?
Spenol on August 28, 2009 at 3:16 PM
If he’s not, I am. Worry about your own country/continent, troll.

Yeah, I am. You don’t live here. You’re not a part of the American Experience. You don’t want America to maintain its exceptionalism. In fact, you probably don’t even understand it. And you probably enjoyed Obama’s World Apology Tour. Why don’t you lend your expertise to the problems in your country and the European Union. Like the fact that a bunch of you will be under Sharia Law before you know it?
kingsjester on August 28, 2009 at 3:33 PM
And yet you watch him…the “poster boy” card has already been played on Rush, and Sarah…try a new gig…or ask your friends at DU.
right2bright on August 28, 2009 at 4:07 PM
He should worry about his own country. There is an election in Norway next month, and the party that “Spenol” supports is a joke. It’s called ‘Venstre’ (literal translation: ‘Left’) and has the support of just 5% of Norwegian voters.
The former head of this party and one of its few current members of parliament, Odd-Einar Dørum, is a clown that dresses up in Hobbits-costumes.
And yet, “Spenol” spends his time calling Glenn Beck “insane”? The irony here is pretty blatant.
Please don’t believe that all Norwegians are this ignorant of American politics.
Norwegian on August 28, 2009 at 4:17 PM
I don’t. Thanks for the information on Norway and the troll Spenol.
Does Glenn Beck’s show actually air in Europe?
Disturb the Universe on August 28, 2009 at 4:24 PM
FoxNews is available on several cable & satellite providers in Europe. It’s funny, my parents back home watch Bill O’Reilly all the time, and they barely speak English.

daesleeper on August 28, 2009 at 4:31 PM
Yes I watch Beck to laugh and point at how dysfunctional the GOP has become. Beck is a major asset…for the Democratic party. He is the poster boy to show what has become of the Conservative movement.
Decider on August 28, 2009 at 2:22 PM
If you don’t get what Glen Beck is saying then there is probably little you do get. My guess is the day after the 2010 elections reality will educate you as to your own dysfunctional perceptions of those who get Glen Beck. I voted straight Democrat until this last election when I voted straight Republican. I’m 59 now, finally I get it. I never thought it would be the Democrats who would make Big Brother a reality. But they are. Free your mind. Turn on, tune in, drop out of the effort to legislate every aspect of people’s lives.

I’m sure Charles at LGF will add it to the list of dropped sponsors tomorrow.

Personally… I love the presents of the Useful Trolls. They are good for a laugh and identification. If you own a business and recognize their names… Fire the F**K out of them. Before I sold my company 2 years ago, I made sure to let go the 3 worst Left wing @$$holes that I employed. They were constantly blogging on Huff Post and another site called… The Leftcoasters. I had plenty of reasons… they just sucked as employees, like most Democrats. Just gang-up on them and beat them with truth and logic.
If they work for you, fire them. If they are your friends… kick them to the curb.

Oh I get Beck. His show is summed up by one phase; “Black people are scary. The President is Black, therefore he is scary too”.
Show me one show Beck did not show a Black face as the boogey man?
Decider on August 28, 2009 at 6:54 PM
Regulars here know I’m not a big fan of lawyers, but I’d love to see Beck haul you into court on libel and slander charges. Hell, I’d fly out to be a process server just for the giggles.
Your statement makes getalife and simplesimon look like a cross between albert einstein and stephen hawking.
BTW – genius… Obama is only 1/6the black. The rest of him is white and arab. ie Barack HUSSEIN obama
bullseye on August 28, 2009 at 7:07 PM
No … YOU sum up Beck’s show by one phrase. It’s YOU projecting your thoughts onto a show that does nothing of the sort. Perhaps it’s YOU that can’t face the fact that we have a black president.
Apparently anytime anyone talks about him you go into some kind of spastic fit. What you really need to get is why you fear talking about a black president.
darwin on August 28, 2009 at 7:12 PM
Gee, I guess I have to clean up your sloppy posts. FIFY..
You could also consider substituting FACIST for MARXIST given Ozero’s propensity to put private industries such as banks and auto makers under government control.
BTW – thought you might be busy this weekend for the trip to chappaquiddick for Ted Kennedy’s funeral

You’re not real swift, are you? Beck is outing the Marxists in the Administration, not the Black Folks. In fact, Beck is good friends with the Floor Manager of his TV Program, who happens to be Black. He has brought him up on the radio program before. If you are going to try to insult another country, you should at least try to pay attention.

If I were to sign up on http://www.liberal.no (your party’s rather lame website) and start hurling insults against Sponheim, Dørum or others clowns within your miniature party, I am sure that be perfectly OK?
Because after all, this is “the world wide internet(s), not the Crazy

It’s not “my party”, it’s just the party that sucks the least. But yes, that would be perfectly fine by me. If americans want to get involved in norwegian politics, that’s also fine by me, but be prepared to be bored to death.
If you find Venstre’s ideology stupid or naive, then have at it, hoss. But don’t expect me to be insulted.
Spenol on August 29, 2009 at 4:20 PM
I do not either. And Ron Paul WILL GET THE JOB DONE IT COMES TO THE CRIMINAL UNCONSTITUTIONAL FEDERAL RESERVE! Ron Paul gives a damn about the Constitution. Not too many can do that.

A “civilian army”, waiting for the Obama made crisis, and paid for by the 90% of unused stimulus funds (his war chest).
“Oh I get Beck. His show is summed up by one phase; “Black people are scary. The President is Black, therefore he is scary too”.
Show me one show Beck did not show a Black face as the boogey man?”
Damn you’re moron. Should he have put all those black commies in his administration in white face so no one would know they’re black? Hey, If the shoe fits, wear it! Radicals and Marxists who “happen” to be black!
I don’t recall any mention of race as an issue by Beck in referring to these people and their backgrounds!

First of all, the UNITED STATES started the World Wide Web AND the Internet, secondly you are on an AMERICAN owned website and thirdly, Norway was occupied by the Nazis…NATIONAL SOCIALISTS…facts that seem to escape you.
nelsonknows on August 30, 2009 at 2:01 AM
Ron Paul is a 911 Conspiracy fruitcake who couldn’t read the Constitution if his life depended on it.
Most of these 911 Conspiracy loons don’t even know who started the WHOLE 911 Conspiracy movement….DEVOUT EUROPEAN COMMUNISTS such as Mathias Brocker, Andreas Von Bulow and Gerhardt Wisnewski in Germany and Thierry Mayssan in France…ALL paid by George Soros.
Ron Paul has been busted for supporting 911 Conspiracy theory crap by this very site and now Ron Paul is finished, too bad his ONLY good idea for auditing the Fed will probably fade away with him.
nelsonknows on August 30, 2009 at 2:09 AM
I still don’t understand how Beck pointing out the obvious — that in the Professor Gates/Officer Crowley incident our President made prejudiced statements and sided with a racist — can be considered race baiting. In the America of free speech and thought that’s called speaking truth to power. And attacking said speaker is called shooting the messenger.
