Video: Michelle and Glenn Beck on radicals in the White House

posted at 7:55 pm on August 25, 2009 by Allahpundit

Day two in GB’s expose of Color of Change founder turned “green jobs czar” Van Jones, this time with an assist from the boss. Beck’s focused on the deeper questions here but as a case study in big media’s double standards towards Republican and Democratic appointees, you simply can’t do better than this. They gave The One a pass on Wright and Ayers during the campaign when McCain would have been crucified for similar relationships, ostensibly because those dealings were in the past and wouldn’t affect the way he governed. Now he’s actually bringing these turds into the White House and giving them oversight positions — and deliberately avoiding Senate confirmation hearings by making them “czars” — and no one except those excitable wingnuts seems to care. If you missed Will Wilkinson’s post this morning about the lingering cultural legitimacy of Marxism, especially as a badge of intelligence in its adherents, read it now. It’s the perfect companion piece to the double-edged scandal of our leftist president hiring radicals and our leftist media shrugging stupidly while he does it.

Michelle is the picture of exquisite beauty, absolute perfection.

Put your pants back on and keep the Asian fetish under control! What kind of comment is that anyway? Are you one of those pro-Asian, anti-white racists?

Rush is paying more attention to Beck now than ever before. The stakes are high, and Rush seems to appreciate Glenn putting his ass on the line for his country.

For all of you Montanans here at HA:

Today’s healthcare rally turnout was fantastic! Thanks to all of you who were able to make it!

We stuck around until all of the Obama supporters left and you all would be interested in knowing that they are working for Senator Baucus. They pick their signs up before the rally, and then turn them in once the rally has ended. Another interesting point, they appear to be walking out with paychecks! We knew it was bad, but didn’t realize they are working directly for Baucus. We must get this nonsense to stop. This is completely unacceptable!

Also, just want to be sure you all know that Senator Baucus will be on Dave Rye’s (910AM) show Wednesday August 26 at 9AM. Let’s get some calls in there and ask him some tough questions.

We will continue our weekly protests, on WEDNESDAY. Trying to avoid the Obama Supporters left us with no luck so we might as well go back to normal schedule.

The Billings 912 healthcare Forum is this Thursday. If you have not received that email with date/time information please email me and I will re-send.

So….don’t forget to tune into 910AM tomorrow at 9AM and we’ll see you next Wednesday at 12PM!

Thanks! God Bless America!

There is a monumental talk ahead of us and frankly, I dont see us keeping our country from being transformed into Obama’s America. He has so many pieces in place already. Only a handful of Americans see what is going on.

..come on, guys. First the “Birthers” were told to stand down, then we were told to tone it down at the town halls so we could get our message across, and now, because we don’t want to come off like some tin foil hat wearers, we are advised that GB is a loon and his sponsors are scared off.

Give me a freaking break!

The Pantload in the White House is a creepy guy and he has a whole bunch of creepy friends with creepy ideas and they are doing creepy things to our country.

Here is a good debate proposition: It ought to be less embarrassing to have been influenced by Ayn Rand than by Karl Marx.

Once a narcissist passes a certain line, he prides himself on his own narcissism, and then intentionally works to develop it. This creates a vicious cycle that will NEVER end of its own accord. This is the only addiction in the world which has no self-limiting element, because it causes harm only to others – never to the addict himself.

Very few of the millions of people throughout history who have gleefully supported Marxist regimes sat around stroking their handlebar mustaches, and saying, “Ooooooh, I’m so gosh-darned evil!” The world doesn’t work that way.

Once someone has committed his entire being to making himself feel better about himself with absolutely no thought whatsoever to the external cost, then he is – for all practical purposes – evil incarnate. The only difference between the average moonbat “intellectual” retard and any Marxist dictator is power.

logis on August 25, 2009 at 10:31 PM

I watched him every now and then when he was with the Lib network, thought it was a marketing ploy by CNN to get viewers.

I think Glenn is doing cutting edge stuff. His delivery is a bit kooky and some people are having difficulty accepting his message because they can’t get past the messenger. I tried to make this point on Little Green Footballs (Johnson ripped Beck apart) last night and I got kicked out for my effort. What is up with Johnson’s little cult over there? He’s like Colonel Kurtz.

moonbatkiller on August 25, 2009 at 8:09 PM

You’re right, you WON’T miss him because he’s not going anywhere. Not only has Beck’s advertisers been replaced in local markets, but the cost of the ad buys for his 5PM slot is the highest in that slot in all of cable now.

Beyond the fact that Beck’s 5PM show more than doubles the ratings on ___any___ cable 5PM program, now it’s even outperform 5PM programming on some broadcast markets.

Hell, Beck’s radio numbers have gotten well into the range of the big dogs and Rush Limbaugh himself will be making an appearance on Beck’s 5PM show.

I noted that when Barack Obama was inaugurated it was the beginning of a period of Darkness in America, taking a twist on Arthur Koestler’s Darkness at Noon. America was Bush fatigued and the Liberal media did not do it’s job to analyze what Obama really believed. Now we are in a spiral to a kinder and gentler Marxist State.

Blue Collar Todd on August 26, 2009 at 12:00 AM

I had never heard of Beck until he came over to fox. I never watch CNN or MSNBC or CNBC. I only listen to Rush and Hannity on the radio. So I began watching Beck after the Cavuto show just because it came on next. Rather than it being background TV noise, it has become my “must pay attention to” show each day. This guy seems to be the ONLY guy in the media who is researching this weave of background relationships of slimey people who hate America.

I had wondered how that huge bill got passed so soon, and knew it would not be a real stimulus because Pelosi and Company just can’t help themselves regarding funding special interests. However, I never imagined that this bill was basically prepared in advance by all of the special interest groups who benefit from it.

May a pox fall on all of those in Congress who voted yes on this bill. This bill is the biggest embarrassment of Congressional spending. Then add to that the omnibus bill. What was that bill for, anyway? It seems like Congress has just turned on the firehose of spending, just to take a sip of water from a drinking fountain.

2010 can not get here soon enough. Anyone want to take bets on if any of the major newspapers begin to do this same investigative journalism? Wait, nevermind, we know they won’t. They are part of the new White House public relations department.

karenhasfreedom on August 26, 2009 at 12:17 AM

Bride of Rove,

The white house called the Beck show and told the producers they don’t like him calling all of those unappointed White House advisors, “czars”. Beck basically told us on the air that as long as they are avoiding Senate confirmation, he will continue to call them czars. Good for him!!!

karenhasfreedom on August 26, 2009 at 12:22 AM

When and how we can force this administration to answer for its cavalier/inept/unconstitutional style of governing?

Why don’t we hear our Senators and Representatives protesting against elevating questionable individuals to the position of power? Better yet: cancelling such appointments?

It’s been only 21 years since the end of the 2nd Reagan’s term. Why can’t we elect a different Congress? Who are the fools among us to put up with such criminal mediocrity in Washington?

2010? Good Jove! Let’s get ready!

Thanks, I thought our fellow commenter seemed overly concerned about our ability to shield ourselves from the flickering flame of a bad influence. Because conservatives have a reputation of being mesmerized by slick talking empty suits, (not mentioning names but POTUS). Oh, I forgot, we can’t think on our own.

Beck will be pre-empted by Ted Kennedy death coverage, that’s my bet. That’s JUST what we need, 7 days of tributes to a scumbag.

nelsonknows on August 26, 2009 at 4:18 AM

Allahpundit, try watching Glenn Beck when your boss isn’t on the show, it’s the same show.

Michelle, great book, thanks!

Ugh! You’re killing me with that thought.

Cindy Munford on August 26, 2009 at 4:22 AM

It’s PAST time for consevative media pundits to unite!
Mark Levin, Glenn Beck, Michael Savage, Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, all of you, unite, drop your egos and support one another or be picked off one by one!

That would be a real shame. In fact, it will be wise of FOX to keep regular programs going , and leave the mourning and to BS & BC…

networks I mean

Michelle is awesome because she’s bright and has more balls than most in the GOP.

LA Conservative on August 25, 2009 at 10:55 PM

And gorgeous.

I can’t speak for her, but I can for myself.
Hypothetically, if I were hot and I were intelligent and accomplished, as a conservative woman, I would experience zero cognitive dissonance expressing both. Yes, make my legacy one of keen intellect and sexiness and feel free to discuss them frequently!

As I said, hypothetically. Of course.

Mommypundit on August 26, 2009 at 5:38 AM

Ahhh…the politics of personal destruction.

Robust protest is fine when it’s a bunch of people screaming about health care, but if you’re on the left it means you’re a dangerous Marxist who is committed to infiltrating the White House and destroying America through — what, anyway? Wind power?

This whole house of card collapses when you look for an agenda any more radical than one supported by the Republican-appointed Chairman of the Fed.

Beck is a clown. Malkin a race-baiter.

And you seem to be exactly what they are talking about… if you call us this. if you say this it “shuts” us up.

How about you try to deny any of this.. do you have the evidence? No? Of course.. because we SEE through you.. thanks to these to.
Go away little clown, race-baiting game player. Are you one of these people perhaps?

Noelie on August 26, 2009 at 7:15 AM

Evidence? We don’t need no stinkin’ evidence.

Just ask MM: “we don’t know if he was a member, because they were very secretive…” A classic smear.

I do love Glenn Beck and hope he never goes away. He’s a Dickensian character, so over the top that he can only be grasped by suspending disbelief, like Uriah Heep or Little Dorrit, or the gut with the cannon in Great Expectations. When he snuffles up a bit and declares that he’s ready to get himself put on some watch list because the American Way is to ask questions, I just want to cuddle his fuzzy little head and tell him everything is going to be all right, and the secret police aren’t really coming for him after all.

The Apollo Alliance helped WRITE THE STIMULUS. Holy Shyte.

marklmail on August 26, 2009 at 8:09 AM

September 5 in Westchester Ohio. Townhall with John Boehner, John Kasich and Jean Schmidt. Room for 40,000 attendees, and there WILL be a question answer session. Stay tuned, we’re not going away, in fact, WE are just getting started. Time to get “plum mad dog mean”. Apollo Alliance, Van Jones, the undermining of the Constitution with the General Welfare and Commerce clauses, everything’s game now. Game on.

davecatbone on August 26, 2009 at 8:20 AM

Yesterday MM, and this afternoon it’s Rush on Beck’s show. I am VERY pleased to see MM, Rush and Glenn working together for us in these dangerous times.

Thanks, MM. Thanks, Rush. Thanks, Glenn.

petefrt on August 26, 2009 at 8:36 AM

Now’s not the time to go all wobbly on Glen…despite his numerous and endearing conservative foibles.

Yes! There’s far too much at risk now for infighting. Save the squabbles for less dangerous times.

Looks to me like everyone’s on the team except Levin and Savage. Even if Levin and Savage can’t see their way to actively working with Beck, at least they can put a lid on their infighting until we get this crisis behind us.

Could care less about Savage, Levin does his own thing and is smart about it.

Incidentally, my wife (Irish, redhead)is Michelle’s age and is just as gorgeous . I give a fist bump over the internet to MM’s husband! :)

rollthedice on August 26, 2009 at 9:34 AM

Allah, Beck is not talking about a media double standard so much as he’s talking about the possibility of a Marxist in the White House.

Chrissy Mathews is the one in serious trouble! No one is watching him. Olby isn’t doing to well either. They seem to be headed the way of Air America and the NYSlimes…

The free market at work. The People are rejecting these idiots and tuning in to FNC.

Our team is on it as usual and deserve kudos in helping U.S. to understand the inner workings of our government.

MSGTAS on August 26, 2009 at 10:08 AM

Why doesnt Michelle deserve a “Top Pick”?

faraway on August 26, 2009 at 10:09 AM

Most of those watching MSNBC just do it for the laughs. I do that too. I will flip back and forth between Fox and MSNBC just to see what incredibly stupid lie they will try to disguise as news. All of their night time hosts spend an inordinately large amount of time talking about Fox. lol

I urge ALL of you to look, and read, the following…

Once you’ve had your ‘fill’ there is yet another you should challenge yourself with in reading…

I can only say that my stomach is in knots and my brain is swirling in thoughts of how we are in some very SERIOUS territory.

Rush Limbaugh on Beck and Mary Jo Kopechne’s killer in the ninth concentric ring of Dante’s Inferno? That is a good day. Rot in hell Ted.

Why does this rodeo clown keep interrupting? Adults talking, shut the pie hole Glenn.
