I wouldn’t be as excited about my service under obama. I volunteered to serve under President Bush. I was Stop-Lossed to serve under obama. (Remember he said he wouldn’t do that? He lied.)

Just think…if the Leftards really had their druthers back when Bush was president, this guy and many, many like him would be alive and well today.

Well, I can’t speak to the Rules of Engagement changes. Could you fill me in with a little more detail about what has changed under the Obama administration? Also is there a chain of command involved in how the RoE get changed and implemented (how involved would the president be in that process)?

I just don’t see why When there are more dead terrorists we needto yell at Obama. For once he’s doing the right thing, even if it is just continuing a Bush policy.

Hi Scrappy, I’m in Afghanistan now. The killing hasn’t stopped under obama, but the ROE has. We are losing more servicemen and women now (because of the change in Rules Of Engagement under obama) than we ever have before in this theater. Look at our Afghan losses since he became the so-called CinC.

If I gave a sh1t, I’d have to call my command almost every time I wanted my Door Gunners to shoot. I have to put my team in harms way to get the bad guys to show “hostile intent.”

obama and his administration are an epic fail at the CinC and war business. He should go back to community organizing.

Let’s give credit where credit is due. The filthy liar in the White House is not killing terrorists. He just hasn’t changed the policy from when GWB was in power.

I’m not sure I’d call it yelling at the filthy liar in the White House but, I am critical of the way he is waging military operations in Afghanistan. Specifically, there doesn’t seem to be a plan. He didn’t like the general running the operations so he fired him and put somebody in that supposedly had the same sort of approach that worked for Patraeus in Iraq.

Afghanistan is not Iraq and you can’t equate them as such.
The same tactics, will not work in Afghanistan and the amorphous tribal regions surrounding arbitrarily drawn borders. We have no clear end state as to what constitutes victory in Afghanistan. We have no clear sense of how many troops it will take and how long they will be there. We’ve dabbled in the non-military ways of nationbuilding but have not really been serious about a coordinated approach. The country and especially the troops deserve more than they are getting out of the rat bastard traitor that is the Commander-in-Chief.

JP, your comment made me look up what “pining for the fjords” was all about. (I confess I am not culturally hip to know ANY Python sketches.) It is uncanny how the Taliban’s insistence that he was not dead marries this comedy sketch to the letter.

Can we spare any drones for the DC area?

Because many Taliban allies, sympathizers, aiders and abetters reside there.
