Quote of the day
posted at 9:29 pm on August 23, 2009 by Allahpundit
“He is trying to fix the financial markets but does not have an assistant treasury secretary for financial markets. He is spending more money on transportation than anyone since Dwight D. Eisenhower but does not have his own inspector general watching how the dollars are used. He is fighting two wars but does not have an Army secretary.
He sent Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton to Africa to talk about international development but does not have anyone running the Agency for International Development. He has invited major powers to a summit on nuclear nonproliferation but does not have an assistant secretary of state for nonproliferation. He has vowed to improve government efficiency but does not have the chief performance officer he promised.
‘If you’re running G.M. without half your senior executives in place, are you worried? I’d say your stockholders would be going nuts,’ said Terry Sullivan, a professor at the University of North Carolina and executive director of the White House Transition Project, which tracks appointments.”

What a colossal, f’ing fraud this former community agitating clown truly is.
The 65 million government-schooled, idiot voters in this country who put this incompetent boob into office should be stripped of their citizenship, tarred, feathered, and then deported by air to North Korea pronto.
Strap WWII surplus chutes on their asses, then throw them out the door.
For each one who impacst the ground at a high rate of speed, just think of it as a long-needed boost to the global gene pool.

Personally, I’m not for impeachment or recall.
I want to see this guy go flat on his face, and watch the moderates who put him in office swing back to sanity. I know several who are already saying “I can’t believe I voted for this guy.”
The momentum is moving back toward small government from what I’m seeing. Leave him in office. Let it stew until people really get an eye full of what leftist democrats are really all about.
I hope the blue dogs over take their party again, and we have an uprising of serious conservatives. Maybe THEN we can have a true two party government again rather than having socialists and socialist lights.

Ain’t that about the whole story. Dubya was the best friend African people (not dictators) have ever had in Washington. From ending the civil wars in South Sudan, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Congo, Other Congo, Central African Republic, to checking Al Quaeda in Somalia, Djibouti, Eritrea, Algeria, Tunisia, to quadrupling AIDS relief in Southern and Eastern Africa — he did it both because he saw it was in America’s best interest, and it also was simply the right thing to do.
President Photo-Op? Yeah, he wrote a book about his African Experience, but he can’t even fill a simple (and you’d think, for a lefty, essential) post like USAID director.
That’s just plain pitiful.

Has anyone ever wondered why the Dems would have let Obama into their primaries, when Hillary has so much more face time? Why did the Dems let a freshman senator from Illinois, of all places, be a possible candidate?
I wonder–is it the soft racism of low expectations? Seriously–if Americans are racist as the Left claims over and over, then it follows that any black candidate on either side will be rejected when Obama fails and is voted from office.

It would be one thing if he were elected and there weren’t so many problems to address, but he’s got so much on his plate (and made so many campaign promises) I think he’s pretty much doomed. His biggest mistake, IMHO, is trusting this Congress to do anything competently. They certainly haven’t helped him. That said, I wonder if any president could do a job with this Congress in office.

……. There are only a few political hacks left from Chicago and Detroit that Obama can let in through the back door with only infractions, misdemeanors, and pending investigations to deal with.
Everyone else would have the light of day shun upon them, and they wouldn’t pass the smell test………
…….. And if Obama appointed a stand up, ethical, and moral person, they would join those who have said, “Thanks, but no thanks!” and Obama couldn’t have anymore of that THAT!
It’s like his personal agenda is more important than the safety and proper running of the Administration of the President of the United States or something…..
Good thing we have a ‘Free and Independent’ press to vent all this out before the ever so crucial votes are cast, along with an open minded education system that allows for dissenting conservative view points to be nurtured and allowed to flourish…………
