He is talking about an Insurance company’s right to provide insurance for a profit. He’s talking about the government not having the right to take its citizen’s money in order to provide insurance..

AP, I love this video and suggest by your question that you miss the critical point. I’m not a constitutional expert, but my understanding is that the government does not have the right to confiscate our property (i.e., money, our bodies, et al..); that property rights are supreme. This, and the implication that it places the individual rights above social rights, is what I believe distinguishes America as a great country.

We can differ in good faith about the derivational elements of America’s greatness (e.g., E Pluribus Unum, In God We Trust, etc.) but Liberty must be sacrosanct.

Maybe. Assuming there is an actual election. There may be a manufactured crisis & martial law, canceling the elections. Lots of nasty laws passed during that time which there won’t be a need to debate in town halls. Many Dems right now behaving like they have no fear of elections any more. I am convinced that 2010 will be rife with fraud. The Americans will have to pull an Orange / Cedar / Or Green revolution after 2010 if the D’s don’t lose any seats.

After what the Democrats did in Washington State Governor’s race, Minnesota Senate race, Florida in 2000 and Wisconsin, etc. They are very well versed in the method of manufacturing votes and stuffing ballot boxes / slashing tires.

The media will manufacture a scandal in the fall of 2010. And like they did with John Edwards… they’ll sit on it right? Nope, they’ll run anything their photoshops can put out and the elusive unnamed source will make a big time appearance in favor of the D’s.
