Also, what would happen to your private insurance premium when the insurance company has to accept pre-existing conditions? Simple answer: it goes way up. Not a little, but a lot. Calculating the cost of adding 10% to your insurance rolls of customers who have known conditions is child’s play to the actuarians employed by health insurance companies. They’ll know day one how many they will get and what exactly it will cost the rest of us. You will have the choice to pay it or go buy insurance on the open market.

I grow increasingly skeptical of these “comprehensive reform” scams — it doesn’t matter if it’s immigration, healthcare, the economy, whatever….if it’s “comprehensive”, it’s chock-full of cr*p.

Seriously, the left is in quite a quandry. The filthy liar in the White House has made this into a zero sum game. He needs to pass something and call it healthcare reform even if it is, in reality, nothing more than a house resolution recognizing March as Q-Tip appreciation month. Team Liar has spent 178 days on this, far longer than expected, and the prevailing attitude now seems to be to get something out of the door and move on. There’s amnesty for illegals and and elevating homosexuality from devient lifestyle choice to state-mandated acceptance bills to write before the elections.

Quickly pass a law that requires a pulse be present before a vote is counted.

Problem is, the GOP doesn’t want to touch it and every time the Dems take it on they come up with some massive statist fiasco that makes the issue radioactive for a decade.

I’m hearing sanity from a few Republicans and a VERY few Democrats. But Obama, the House Democrats, and Senators like Reid are all standing around peeing in the pool and it’s unlikely anyone will really want to get back in.

If so then they are fools.

I think they could do better than that. Require the politician touch their toes and count to ten before being allowed to vote. That would disqualify Teddy Kennedy on two counts, considering he hasn’t seen his feet since sometime in the 1970s.

As long as Kennedy and Byrd are lingering on this side of eternity, but not able to be wheeled in in public to press a finger to a button or raise a hand, Reid only has 58 votes.

What do the Liberals think we’re going to do if we lose this battle? Do they think we’re going to just go home and sulk and then accept this huge step towards totalitarianism? If so then they are fools.

They forget that they are dependent Producers and Achievers going along with their own enslavement.

But the White House is crowing that he is a “conservative” talk radio host, and this shows Obama is “not afraid to talk to conservatives.” Unbelievable that Smerconish would let himself get used like that, but he does have a gigantic ego.

This last couple of days has been especially disgusting. The filthy liar in the White House has wrapped himself around NASCAR, conservative talk radio, and religious organizations. The bastard wouldn’t have done any of that outreach if his healthcare plot wasn’t in such trouble.
