I hope that a strong, principled conservative will prove that the real deal does not need to glitter. Truth always wins out, with or without fancy slogans and shiny packaging.

I don’t understand the confusion here.

That along with this from Charlie Cook’s political report:

[T]he situation this summer has slipped completely out of control for President Obama and Congressional Democrats. Today, The Cook Political Report’s Congressional election model, based on individual races, is pointing toward a net Democratic loss of between six and 12 seats, but our sense, factoring in macro-political dynamics is that this is far too low.

Many veteran Congressional election watchers, including Democratic ones, report an eerie sense of déjà vu, with a consensus forming that the chances of Democratic losses going higher than 20 seats is just as good as the chances of Democratic losses going lower than 20 seats. A new Gallup poll that shows Congress’ job disapproval at 70 percent among independents should provide little solace to Democrats. In the same poll, Congressional approval among independents is at 22 percent, with 31 percent approving overall, and 62 percent disapproving.

Now we need to run some effective members of the GOP who will govern like limited government conservatives, and not like some of the corrupt goons who ran wild with tax payers’ money during the Bush administration.

Say that over and over and over to everyone you know. Get cartoons (http://www.townhall.com)like Ramirez. Belittle the plan, use Alinskys’ own rules on them. They will be relentless, but the American people are being driven by this guy to speak out and take action.

If he keeps this up the 9/12 march is going to be GI-Normous.

And I don’t know a whole lot about this march either. If Congress tries to push this through you’re going to see Grannies there, the disabled, lots of “mob” people (normal citizens).

Well, a war on literacy would certainly aid the Democrats maintain power. And isn’t that what the teachers’ unions have been waging for years, semi-covertly?
