Number one on the NYT bestseller list again this week — although frankly, she has an unfair advantage. How are other nonfiction writers supposed to compete when she’s got news stories bolstering her thesis breaking every day?
How many new epilogues is this book going to get before she’s done with it? Thirty?

I watched this last night. Well done, as always, Michelle. There really is no one that is more articulate on the tele~
I’m in awe of Obama. He runs on Change…no more ’special interests’, etc.
And he is seemingly more involved with special interests than any other President I’ve ever known. Or, he just doesn’t know how to hide it as well?
He doesn’t have any core beliefs, it seems. Okay, I’ll give him a good grade for being a family man. I sure hope he doesn’t pull a clinton on that one.
But, he has no beliefs, so he follows his thug line of $$ and that is what drives him.
Wow.
It’s a shame that our first black HISTORIC president has to be a corrupt thug.

Good point about the Cheney/Halliburton angle.
I do think most Americans will tune this stuff out, chalk it up to “All politicos are corrupt, this isn’t news”.

If you haven’t noticed, the Chicago political machine with all its corruption, thug tactics, and cronyism has gone national with the election of the filthy liar in the White House.

Depends on how many years Hussein remains in office and how long criticism is permitted.

First of all, it would be good form to cite the source of a claim like that — and original analysis, please, not some third-hand copy from a HuffPo post or Al Gore speech.
Here, let me help: This might be a good place for some cross-industry comparisons. And you might find it interesting also that half (look, a cite!) the marketing expense is in the form of free samples — samples that find their way to patients. I can tell you personally that I was treated for a life-threatening infection a few years back with free sample ketolides from my family doctor. This is not an unusual case at all.

No kidding, every day it’s something else with this administration. One could write an encyclopedia!

It seems Mrs. Malkin(notice how I used Mrs.? I was watching Olbergoebbels(?) the other night and noticed MISS Palin being used, as if her marriage was not valid, and it was done on purpose)has become quite the watchdog of the corrupt and NON-TRANSPARENT government of the Obama administration. With 3 and a half years left of Big Brother Barack, she’s going to be one busy lady. I bought her book the other day, and so far it’s a wonderful expose’. Not reading in record time as I am also reading Mark Levin, Glenn Beck, Dick Morris and as a Libertarian, most importantly Wayne Allen Root’s “Conscience of a Libertarian”(highly recommended-based on Barry Goldwater’s “Conscience of a Conservative” written 50 years earlier…) So many great books and so little time…Crush Progressivism People!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate liars. But I really hate the “objective” media that refuses to acknowledge how dishonest this gov’t has become.
search4truth on August 20, 2009 at 8:54 AM
Me thinks that the paperback version of the book will at least twice the size as the hardcover.

will be twice the size

In the last several weeks, what has been the reaction of the medical insurance industry towards Obamacare? I’ve only seen reaction from constituents.
Does it seem too quiet out there?
Michelle’s comments (video 4:00) about who has been profiting from backroom negotiations with the insurance companies makes me wonder what is in it for them when it comes to Obamacare?
Don’t med insurance companies want to see the single pay system defeated?

Bought it, read it, loved it.
Keep up the great work Michelle.

My criticism of the jug-eared freak does not require permission. The day that happens we will see the fangs in the mouth of free speech.

Let me connect some dots for you:
This gives Kathleen Sebelius a Magic Wand she can wave over any insurance policy and declare it “acceptable”, even if another identically-worded policy is “unacceptable”.
How much do you want to bet that insurance companies or employers who hire Axelrod’s companies or other connected organizations will get favorable treatment, just like auto dealers that supported Obama got special handling when it came time to revoke dealerships?

GREAT JOB MICHELLE MALKIN!

Nuttin to see here! Move along! Must be the fault of the evil BOOOOOOOSH, Chaney, and Rove. Axelrod is just doing the job others won’t do–ripping off the taxpayers and making himself rich in the process.

Yes, those evil companies that dare to do what they want with the money they make. Why, do you realize that they use a whole lot of that money for – brace yourself – RESEARCH. How horrible of them do use this money to develop future drugs to save lives. And, do you realize that patents expire after 20 years on drugs and this is from the moment you file. After you file, you still have to run further tests, do clinical studies, and get approved by the FDA before you see a return on this investment. Many times, your patent is at least 10 years old before your product even hits the market. Before the product even comes out, the investment is astronomical. I just pray that the day never comes that you need a product provided by these immoral companies to save your life.
