Gasoline in California is currently heading toward $4 a gallon. For those who don’t remember what Pelosi said about $3/gallon gas prices in 2006, here’s a quote from a C-SPAN video:

I don’t know that there’s a conspiracy going on…though it is odd that NONE of the news sites seem to care about it. I just think it’s crappy reporting. Maybe there’s a “if CNN doesn’t care, well we shouldn’t either” thing going on, so no one is covering it. It just seems to me it was a big enough incident, went on long enough, involved both local and federal law enforcement, and a threat to the White House, seems to me that should get more attention then the latest take on some 10 year old murder case, or some knife wielding old lady getting dropped to the ground by a cop.

They even have footage of the whole thing. I mean, OK sure, sometimes the TV news, and their web sites, tend to act if something never even happened if they don’t have video to go along with a story, but they have that here too. I watched the last couple hours of it online to see just what they were going to do to get this guy out of his sweet VW beetle. I found that almost as odd as everything else. How many nutjobs have you seen who drive a nice car? They always seem to have some beat up truck or four door sedan. This guy had a really nice red VW Beetle, custom wheels, tinted windows and everything. Sad they busted it up a bit to get to him. It is all just to strange. Not a peep today. Not even here.
