The boss posted the unedited version yesterday; you can thank Naked Emperor News for turning it into the bite-sized confection you see before you. I grant you that at first blush it’s confusing to find Madam Speaker patronizing nutroots screechers about their virtue after she called health-care shouters “un-American” this week, but there’s actually a perfectly good explanation for it: She’s a shameless, robotic partisan hypocrite.

Seems to me if they had really squelched dissent they would not have lost control of both houses of Congress and the White House. But that’s just me.

Anybody notice that there has been virtually NO coverage of that guy yesterday who kept police, FBI, and Secret Service at bay for several hours yesterday? None of the basic questions answered; what kind of threats had he made, did he have a gun in the car, did he claim to have a bomb, anything found at his house that would indicate his threats were more than idle words? NOTHING. It’s like it never even happened.

What was “illegal” about it, kid? It was authorized by Congress, and most of the Democrats who voted for it have never apologized for their votes.
I know they never taught you this stuff at the Law School at Moe Howard University, but Congress explicitly authorized the use of force against Iraq.
But of course, in your parallel universe, Saddam Hussein never violated any UN Resolutions. Only the evil Joos did that.

THIS is what is pissing us off, trolls. We had mainstream media WILLFULLY ignoring the most hate-filled signs, chants, bumper stickers, etc. aimed at George W. Bush for EIGHT YEARS. Now a few grandmas show up and shout “socialism” at a Congressman and the media breathlessly report them as “angry mobs.”

I don’t know that there’s a conspiracy going on…though it is odd that NONE of the news sites seem to care about it. I just think it’s crappy reporting. Maybe there’s a “if CNN doesn’t care, well we shouldn’t either” thing going on, so no one is covering it. It just seems to me it was a big enough incident, went on long enough, involved both local and federal law enforcement, and a threat to the White House, seems to me that should get more attention then the latest take on some 10 year old murder case, or some knife wielding old lady getting dropped to the ground by a cop.
They even have footage of the whole thing. I mean, OK sure, sometimes the TV news, and their web sites, tend to act if something never even happened if they don’t have video to go along with a story, but they have that here too. I watched the last couple hours of it online to see just what they were going to do to get this guy out of his sweet VW beetle. I found that almost as odd as everything else. How many nutjobs have you seen who drive a nice car? They always seem to have some beat up truck or four door sedan. This guy had a really nice red VW Beetle, custom wheels, tinted windows and everything. Sad they busted it up a bit to get to him. It is all just to strange. Not a peep today. Not even here.
