[...] If the voters in New Hampshire expected to get answers from their Congressional Representatives on health-care reform, they may have to wait a long, long time. Neither Paul Hodes or Carol Shea-Porter will meet with constituents during the August recess, a time when Beltway politicians usually touch base with voters back home to both raise money and take heat over their policies. Instead, both will meet an entirely different constituencies: Democratic Rep. Paul Hodes (NH-02) has no publicly scheduled town hall meetings with constituents planned for the August recess but he will appear in Concord as the “featured guest” at the Blue Hampshire Bash, a party for liberal bloggers on August 24th, NowHampshire.com has learned.
Hodes is modestly competent but a thorough 0bama rump-swab. Shea-porter is simply a dumb-ass and, if anything, is further up 0's butt than Hodes. We in NH got swamped by emigre` libs escaping MA's taxes but now demanding the same services they got there. Being libs, they are happy to spend Other People's Money to satisfy their needs.

Max Baucus is the Chairmen of Senate Finance Committe, he voted for Sotomayor that isn't popular in Montana a Red State and ultra 2nd Amendment state. They can't pass this reform bill whatever it turns out to be without Max Baucus. Montanans are aware of the spending and the debt we are incurring. They are individualist not collectivist. Max Baucus doesn't have the luxury of living in a Blue State.

I expect to see a staged event in Bozeman I hope I am wrong but look what happened in New Hampshire. Kabuki Theater, what's your name little girl.....

Triple J is holding a town hall-in a church on the south side of Chicago! It’s in the evening.
If he held it in the far south suburbs he might find (GASP!) folks who don’t like obama-care.
Can’t have that-can we?
I’m a 5ft.2inch woman.
I’m brave-but not crazy brave.
There’s no way I’m going to that neighborhood-anytime.

Strenght in numbers my dear, if you would like a non-metrosexual male to accompany you I'd be glad to act as escort. There are more in oppoisition than you might think here in Chicago, by no means a majority but enough to be heard. The tea-party at the Federal Bldg. last April is testament that you are not alone.

I am in Streeterville you reach me at archimedes6@att.net

This shouldn’t surprise anyone. These politicians are deathly afraid of becoming infamous on Youtube. Look at how Specter’s numbers have plummeted since he started attending these townhalls.

Really funny, considering the fact that they have their Senate majority courtesy of a little YouTube video of George Allen calling some kid a “macaca.”

In Seattle, Baghdad Jim McDermott is only holding teleconference townhall meetings. Supposedly I will get a call to tell me when I can call in to participate. Yeah, I'm sure that will happen any moment now.

Neither Osama Mama Patty Murray or Backbencher Maria Cantwell are holding townhalls this month.

Needless to say, I feel very well represented in Congress......./s

Here in NH we refer to her as "Carole Che-Porter". And with good reason.

Last October, the son of a friend of mine, a member of the NH National Guard, was KIA by an IED in Afghanistan. There was a huge, and I mean huge, military funeral in his home city of Franklin, attended by thousands.

First to speak at the service was NH Governor John Lynch, a Democrat. Also in attendance were Senator John Sununu and Rep. Paul Hodes. Senator Judd Gregg was absent, but he had an excellent excuse-at the same time as the service, he was busy christening the new attack sub USS New Hampshire in Portsmouth. But Che-Porter was a total no-show.

When I got home from the service and checked my e-mail, there was a fund raising message from Che-Porter-it had been sent at the same time the service was taking place. I e-mailed her back, asking why she hadn't attended the service.

She refused to reply.

Wouldn't well known Democracy advocate Markos Moulitsas Zuniga encourage Hodes to skip Blue Hampshire Bash and go host a town hall meeting and actually practice Democracy?

It seems to me that Kos himself is actively providing cover for a candidate hiding from his constituents.

Makes me want to learn Latin.

And from 300:

Xerxes: Consider the beautiful land you so vigorously defend. Picture it reduced to ash at my whim! Consider the fate of your women!
Spartan King Leonidas: Clearly you don't know our women!

Sarah, you have your marching orders!

C-SPAN broadcast the obscene Networks Nation last night. The union opening video was full of profanity and threats of violence against conservative. Kos kid stood up and told people to thieve. This as intro to Bill Clinton.
