Correct Numbers and sources

I have linked this so many times, I now have a text file on my Desktop to keep it handy.

The real number, acording to Blue Cross in 2008 is 8.2Million.

Lets not scrap what is OK for 300+ Million for 8.2Million.

Isn't it strange that most liberals probably wouldn't even consider that letter to have any possibility of authenticity? They wouldn't even entertain the possibility, and yet aren't liberals the same people that without hesitation declared the so-called "Downing Street Memo" to be the lost gospel of the liberal bible? It's amazing how they just seem to instinctively know what's true, and what's not. No wonder they know what's good for us, even when we don't.

Lost from the train of thought: who approves drugs for prescription/sale in the US? Not that it’s efficient, although safe, but what pressure/delays could the FDA bring to bear on Big Pharma’s buy-in/not? Who is the Czar of the FDA? Who appointed the Czar and when? Does Big Pharma have a rep on the Super Duper Advisory Panel for the single payer oversight bureaucracy? Whatever happened to DB Cooper?

Maybe PhRMA thought that the momentum of the Obama admin was going so strong that it was time to get on the same train. PhRMA may be one of the players that would benefit just by sheer volume if it was part of a single payer system.

Sounds like it could be lucrative.

But I sure wouldn’t want to hook up with Chicago politicians thinking that they’re going to play fair in the long run.

Let’s see what happens with PhRMA’S position after Obamacare becomes a trainwreck.

Because all Federal and Union employees are exempt from this health care reform plan?

At least that is my understanding. That gives both Pharm and Health Insurance companies plenty of people to still “deal over” in the coming years, right?

It’s more like 5-10 million after you remove illegal aliens and people that do not buy insurance that CAN afford it. I think there’s another category as well, forgot what it is, but that’ll leave only 5-10 mill at most.

These 5-10 mill can be squeezed into medicare or medicaid, whichever. Leave the rest of us the hell alone and go do tort reform, stop playing games to puff up prescription prices, and allow insurance groups across state lines. In other words, the gov’t should do what it’s actually SUPPOSED to do rather than try to stain this land pink.

The house I’m building now won’t be on the grid for electricity, water, or gas. Screw GE. They come on my property, they get shot.

Prescription drugs cost too much for the average American. That’s why so many Americans cross into Canada or Mexico to buy a pill that costs $1000 in the states for $10.

Name a medication that costs $1000 per pill in the US, and $10 a pill in Mexico or Canada. Go ahead. I’m waiting.

What I don’t like is that Pharma is taking out ads and trying to push ObamaCare. In the four possibilities scenario where does it say they have to commit millions in ads supporting OgabeCare? On the other hand, it makes you wonder if Pharma isn’t in the background sabotaging Obama. Who leaked this memo and why is it so close to the truth that Pharma has to say “it isn’t “accurate” instead of there is no deal. Between Palin winning on the “Death Panels” and the Whitehouse sending out e-mails, the timing of this revelation could not be more damaging. Someone is helping.
