I hate to be the downer, but I, too, am concerned that September will arrive, the townhall confrontations will end, and people will just give up. These Marxist are persistant, and I am hoping that the “mob” will have the guts to keep up the pressure.

The confrontations have already started to end because the members of congress are not showing up/canceling their town mtgs and instead sending out emails asking for input. Case in point: Harry Mitchell – Democrat – Tempe AZ. I think Harry did hold a town mtg though so I’ll give him credit for that. Good man. Let’s chat about Arizona’s other congresswoman Ann Kilpatrick who I’ve just learned has decided not to visit with the ‘little people’.

Just prepare yourselves: This show of irritation by the people will be ignored, the law shall pass, you will be enrolled in gov’t care and thus your lives will change.

I’m fighting against it but know that they’re going to do what they’re going to do not matter what we say. 2010 seems to be the next ‘fight’ but then you’ll have the media and the SEIU people protesting any cuts to government healthcare and the republicans will be made to look like boogymen cutting grandma’s health insurance. Its a done deal and we can moan all we want, show our spirit but just like porkulus – with all the faxes, phonecalls, emails to reject it – healthcare reform will pass.

I’m mentally prepared to “embrace the horror”, roll my eyes at the coming outrage of the grey panthers, who voted in the democrats who would like them to get on the ice flow and go away so the gov’t can save $$ on healthcare AND social security.
