Not even a nice try-your side had absolutely NO problem with Florida’s Attorney General also being Gore’s FL campaign chair. You also had absolutely no problem with the all-Democrat Florida Supreme Court injecting themselves into the recount, totally unsolicited, and then trying to steal the election for their (and your) guy. Of course they got bitch-slapped by SCOTUS, first by a 9-0 decision, followed by a 7-2 ruling.

As for the later 5-4 SCOTUS ruling, that had nothing to do with the merits of the case, only with the remedy. But your side desperately clings to that final ruling, and totally ignores the 7-2 bitchslapping Gore got the very same day.
