The AARP is just cashing in another marker. They want a few more ladles full of gravy from the Obamacare bill, and they’re putting Teh Won on notice that they’re waiting for the obligatory “How much more do you want before you’ll officially endorse it?” call from the White House.

I’ve gotten into the habit of neatly folding those junk mail flyers I get in my mailbox and placing them in the AARP and other leftist organizations enclosed “postage free” envelopes and mailing my junk mail to them.

Still keep getting solicitations from AARP and others. Keep sending them Pizza flyers, local store broadsheets and stuff. My own way to recycle.

The real issue for Medicare dependants is that the cost-shifting mechanism that pays for their care requires a large pool of independantly insured healthcare purchasers to whom the cost can be shifted. Even doubling the number of people under government-negotiated health coverage will break the back of the cost-shifting shell game.

Seniors should know that and understand it. It isn’t terribly complicated.

How this administration manages to dance on the third rail at a time when the baby boomers are hitting the SS/Medicare trough is beyond me.

Yesterday, I reported a well dressed (in a Brook’s Brothers crafted suit, like the Florida recount Republicans) articulate and clean black man with funny ears, was spreading lies about the health care plan to the snitch line. I know I wasn’t the only one. I wonder if the servers were melted down with this one?

The AARP spokestool was on FOX yesterday. (O’Reilly?) Lots of squirming. “We work with a lot people on a lot of things…” kind of stuff. They’re afraid to buck the President, but are also losing members. Sucks to be in PR at AARP.

It serves them right for being so completely dishonest. They’ve sold out their membership for their own financial gain. I’d be curious to see how much the top administrators at AARP make. I’m guessing it’s quite a lot, and no doubt they also get lots of expensive perks that aren’t officially included in their reported salaries. Some enterprising reporter-type needs to do an expose’ on this crooked bunch of frauds. A lot of old people are being ripped off.

My brother used to work for the post office. He told me how effienct it really was. If the union said it should take him 30 minutes to sort his mail, but he could do that days mail in 10 minutes, he better pace himself to make sure that ten minutes if sorting took thirty minutes. If the uninon said it was suppose to take him 4 hours and 31 minutes to deliever the mail on his route, but he did not have a much as normal, it still better take him 4 hours and 31 minutes to deliver it, or the union would have a talk with him and things might not go so well for him afterwards. Obama sure picked another winner for an example just to show us how well he understands how his plan will work, but I am sure that he did not intend to pick one that was so close to the truth. What is scary is that we the people understand how his will work better than he or any of his mob of ” left wing intellectual radical liberal socialist.”

Hey AARP endorsed my plan too, and John Kerry’s plan too. He had a plan. Just go to his web site. He planned to put it there after one of his planning meetings to discuss the plan for the next meeting where they were planning to talk about the plan to put the plan on his web-site.
