Worth posting for two reasons. First, because it’s a stark commentary on fame in modern America — not only in terms of how low the bar is set to qualify but how small the rewards are. The kid’s gone from front row at the Republican convention to … the Teen Choice Awards … as Kathy Griffin’s date. What’s next, taking Pia Zadora to the Daytime Emmys? Second, although most Palin fans can’t stand him, this is actually good news for the ‘Cuda, especially now that she’s engaging on serious policy matters. The more visible Johnston becomes as a celebrity parasite and gossip-page hanger-on, the less the public will associate him with her or Bristol. Eventually he’ll just be one of those “why is he famous again?” people, like Paris Hilton or Kevin Federline. Or, actually, Kathy Griffin.

Seriously have you watched TV lately? The stuff they put on is incredible. The Family Channel truly is r rated at times. I am no prude but would not mind being able to turn the tv on without some of the crap they show when my kids are with me.

It shows how extensive is the movement behind the scenes to stop Sarahcuda. From the Alaskan progressive bloggers swearing in secrecy to stall Palin’s agenda by filing repeated ethics complaints and spreading conspiracy theories, Democratic celebrity lawyers like Rex Butler and Tank Jones who use their Hollyweird connections to Jerry Springer-ize Palin’s family, to journalists around the newsrooms of the world who will sell any kind of mis-information to the Republican establishment which will strike her in the back to pick one of their own.
When I jumped on her bandwagon, one of the reasons was just this massive opposition to derail her. Anyone who can survive such bombardment and still retain their cheerful sanity is tough. I promote Sarah because she is tough, real tough politician.

I remember Griffin when she was young and appearing on Comedy Central in the early days of the network. She was funny, but vanished. Then she showed up dumping on Jesus Christ and acting out like a lunatic. I figured her career was over, but was wrong as usual when it comes to entertainment. Now she is running her foul mouth around this kid, thirty years her junior. They deserve each other.

There’s nothing wrong with abstinence. And it is the only solid way to prevent pregnancy and STDs. (That’s a fact.) Palin’s not living in a fantasy world; I’m sure she told her daughter about sex, abstinence, condoms etc. That doesn’t mean Bristol, or any teen, will follow their parent’s advice.
She tried to tell her daughter about abstinence. Matter of fact, name any responsible parent who doesn’t tell their child it’s better to wait to have sex? I think nearly everyone has heard that when the “talk” begins. However, Bristol chose not to follow her mother’s advice and is living with the consequences of her actions(not punishment like Obama thinks). People in my family got the same advice and some chose to listen and others did not. In the end it’s their decision. Bristol made her own decision. That does not make Palin or anyone else a hypocrite. Check out ZoNation. He makes it clear: it’s not the principle that leads to trouble, it’s the failure to apply the principle that leads to trouble.
In the end the parent is there to guide the child; they can not force the child. Everyone has to learn by making their own decisions which can be mistakes or triumphs. Palin was trying to give her daughter guidance and now she knows that mommy was right.
However, this type of solid logic will fall deaf on your ears because you’re not interested in rationality or reality. Just another troll.
