Video: Meet the mob

posted at 6:45 pm on August 9, 2009 by Allahpundit

Dude, they’re out of control. In fact, according to the voices in Cynthia Tucker’s head, anywhere from 45 to 65 percent of these people are racist. I wonder which ones are the secret Klansmen. Something about the lady who stays home to care for her brother with Down’s syndrome tells me she’s burning with rage.

The quiet people getting on with their own lives and bothering as few others as possible have discovered the mass of socialists who have been working very hard behind their backs to get control over these same people for their own benefit…and they are not happy at the sight.

Methinks a lot of ordinary people have had enough manure from the poltical class and won’t accept more.

I just want to run my little dipstick company and live my little dipstick life without getting jerked around too much by the government minders. They are going too far, and I’ll ask nicely if they will back off, get real.

Call me “un-American” or a Nazi, and you are the one who looks stupid. Don’t, however, lay a hand on me or any other person peacefully dissenting against this insanity.

It doesn’t work, won’t work now, and we all know it, which is why the name-calling and head-thumping is starting, because the promoters have NOTHING ELSE to bring to the debate. They have already lost the arguement on the facts and morals, now the question is how much force they will try to use.

Any day every day I would rather make love than war, but don’t bet on the “persuasion of power” working, socialists. There’s precedent for effective resistance to tyranny in America’s history. Americans remember that history.

“Behind every blade of grass…” if that’s what’s needed.

gophergirl on August 9, 2009 at 7:33 PM

But one question. What is to keep the super-state from trying to use force to keep us in the union?

chemman on August 9, 2009 at 7:25 PM

I have wondered about this for a long time, but given that the US won’t even threaten Iran or North Korea or anyone else, I think it highly unlikely that they would have the guts to go to war with seceding states. I also doubt that any such orders would be carried through. An attempt to do so would seem to have the effect of breaking the US military more than threatening states looking to leave.

The federal government would try to force tons of its debt onto the departing states, and that could erupt, but the federal government (to be morphed into a national government, no doubt) and the states remaining in the US would have too many problems handling their own cities and getting energy (as most of the real energy states would be among the first to leave).

But this is still a very serious open question, about the US trying to force states to stay in the union. I just don’t see the left really having the guts to try and go to war over it. The US is too broke for that, anyway.

Time to ramp it up. Peaceful protest in the hundreds will turn into thousands.

VibrioCocci on August 9, 2009 at 7:38 PM

I’m sure they would want to. I have no doubt that the rhetoric would be insane and hot. I just don’t think that they could even dare to try to bring it to a physical attack. These leftists are good at sending union thugs to meetings with senior citizens complaining, but they will wilt at the prospect of anything more serious. It all comes down to a question of which side the military and other arms of power would come down on. I don’t think The Precedent could order our military to attack a state and I don’t think that many in our defense community trust the Washington junta, at all.

But, you never know.

These are my peeps here in Tucson, AZ. Don’t they look like super-scary redneck agitators, and don’t you love the Brooks Brothers, insurance-company-financed apparel?

Our so-called representative, Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords is a great big liberal tool. She is also a coward who refuses to even speak to (let alone listen to) her very well-behaved constituents who wish to ask her questions about her support for Obamacare.

She is well-financed by the usual suspects here in AZ, but she didn’t face any serious competition in her last election (for her second term). Things are going to be very different in 2010. We are angry, we are motivated, and we are an active MOB. So look out Gabby, your days in Congress are numbered — and it’s a number so low that even you can count it!

You know, I really wish the left and the media would stop using the racist canard every time someone says something that is contrary to their world view or is critical of the Obama administration and its agenda. Its insulting and hatefull and only serves to drive a wedge between people and prevent a civil discourse from occurring.

As a Conservative I don’t judge people by the color of their skin but rather by the content of their character, Unlike left wing ideologues who appear to be constantly drawing distinctions between segments of society based on race, gender, socioeconomic class, and sexual orientation.

This “Mob” thing is quite interesting… you know why the participants in the Boston Tea Party dressed up as Indians, right? Not just because it gave them a convenient way too disguise themselves, but because in their own not-to-distant past, the Indians (encouraged by the French) had been “the mob” to them, a force to be feared, when these folks were still loyal British subjects. It was their way of sending a subtle signal: we might not continue to be loyal British subjects forever, you know.

The signal was not received.

The Gov. is trying to rid the US of the majority of capitalists.

Most people over the age of 60 are far too engaged in it and it is in their blood more so than the baby boomers.

The boomers on down are the ones who were the first to experience the slow drip of socialist education.

Look at the age range of the these protesters. Not only are they concerned about healthcare, they are concerned about the world their offspring will endure.

Obama is famous for eliminating his competition. Killing them off is clearly the most efficient means.

DerKrieger on August 9, 2009 at 8:21 PM

OT:

Huckabee’s show did a pretty good job of exposing liberals for the frauds that they are.

He started with Loretta Sanchez, a CA rep. She’s a nitwit, and she demonstrates how poor the responses Dems have for questions about their proposals.

Huckabee also interviewed Obama’s longtime doctor. The doc led off with the 47 million uninsured statement, and Huck took him apart. It was actually quite hilarious to watch the guy switch the subject as soon as he’d been torpedoed in order to start yammering about personal bankruptcies caused by medical costs. (Personally, I want to know the real numbers underlying those bankruptcies and the facts underlying them because I have no sympathy for anyone who declined to purchase insurance and I also think that the health care costs have to be the primary factor leading to the bankruptcy in order for it to be cited as an example.)

Anyway, I thought Huck ran a pretty good show on this subject. And I don’t really like him much.

I’m not a Huck fan, but I think he did us proud in calmly exposing these people for the frauds that they are.

No one wants to claim Sheila Jackson?

My guy is Jeb Hensarling. He is a keeper.

No one that can read or write.
Oh that was not fair on my part was it?

HoustonRight on August 9, 2009 at 8:23 PM

Don’t worry. I’m sure Sheila won’t be able to read your post.

I totally agree with you regarding the bankruptcy claims. Although I’m positive that some folks are driven to bankruptcy because of medical bills but what’s the back story? Why did these people not have health insurance? What other debts did they have? Simply saying “x number of Americans go bankrupt each year blah blah blah” is meaningless in and of itself. It’s an emotion based statement.

I know and I’m ok with that. Phase it out and Social Security too. I can take care of myself if I can keep my own money.

I just saw a good ad on the weather channel from 60plus.org.

Yeah. Sounds good. I’d vote for it (or vote for someone that wanted this system).

That said, these seniors that are currently enjoying living off of the the Gov’t Programs such as SS and Medicaid might suddenly find their outrage focused on the right…

I bough 100 copies of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence from Heritage and will be handing them out at work. If nothing else, Obama is going to cause a lot of people to rediscover our Founders and Founding documents and possibly figure out just how much of what the Fed does today is unconstitutional.

I wonder which ones are the secret Klansmen.

That reminds me. I forgot to pick up robe and pointy hat from the dry cleaners yesterday. Don’t report me.
