The more I see and read of Brooks the more and more convinced I become that he is just dumb or at the very least lazy.

There are all sorts of rationing of care in the only bill that has been presented. If there is another bill, then Obama needs to keep his promise and post it on the internet long before the vote, like he promised… Of course we all know he was/is lying to get whatever support he needs to get this passed.

I don’t listen to Rush all that often, but I did happen to hear the part of his program when he talked about this. And he is absolutely correct here.

Obviously, I meant might be. I have not had my full intake of coffee this morning.

And I don’t get the Times so I’ve never known his writing, but I did question his smarts and his conservativism when I saw him in an interview on ‘David and David’ with David Gergan(?) prior to the election and Brooks said he had talked with Obama and thought he was smart enough not to act rashly or mess up our foreign policy or generally screw up the country.

I haven’t seen him say anything smart or insightful since.
