New video from St. Louis town hall beating

posted at 3:56 pm on August 8, 2009 by Patrick Ishmael

The hits just keep on comin’. Literally.

I’ll pass along the details of who the camerawoman was, who her batterer was, and what has happened since when I get them. In the meantime, Jim Hoft and others are covering the protest held in support of Kenneth Gladney outside the SEIU office.

As the image below suggests, you can bet on it: this is not over. Click the photo for more of Josh Schroeder’s Gladney rally photos.

Tyrany can only prosper in this country, if the Normal Citizen is intimidated into not speaking their opinion.

The Government, through its spokesmen, is inciting violence, in order to intimidate.

Connect the dots.

The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of liberalism, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.

What is happening now, with full support of Barry Obama and the Democratic party, is nothing short of the most disgusting display of state-sponsored tyranny in this nation’s history.

The call goes out to every TRUE American to stand up to Obama’s Brownshirts. The state-sponsored media will follow the party line like the lemmings that they are…

Forget November 2008…THIS is the time to save the United States of America once and for all. War has been declared by Barry Hussein Obama and his gang of thugs.

SEIU needs a taste of freedom and liberty.

FloatingRock on August 8, 2009 at 4:35 PM

There is an extraordinary lesson in this confrontation. The racist question the SEIU thug asked Mr. Gladney was, “What kind of n…..r are you?” Then proceeded to scuff him up.

This is basically the same question that Mr. Harry Alford was asked by “Call me Senator I think I’ve earned it” Barbara Boxer (D-CA) as well as by Justice Clarence Thomas and many other blacks who happen to be conservatives. This is essentially the question that racist Dems as well as blacks use against other blacks when they fall “out of line” such as Mr. Gladney was apparently doing by selling “Don’t Tread on Me” stuff.

As for Mr. Gladney’s answer, well it was emblazoned on the flags and pins he was trying to sell–”Don’t Tread On Me”–the same point all of the other Patriots at that townhall meeting were trying to make.

The thugs who used a racist slur against Mr. Ken Gladney in St. Louis ought to be tried for a hate crime as well as assault. The “organizers” who sent them there ought to be coconspirators to commit assault and infringe upon someone’s freedom of speech. They should be pursued, tried and imprisoned. Blacks everywhere ought to be shown this story and see this telling, revealing question by one black man to another for exactly what it is—control.

So, what we have on the 6th of August is the nation’s first black president, unsheathing the sword of state against citizens, and a black man violates the rights of another black man…. Now THIS, is a teachable moment.

1-douchebagsjust being douchebags.

2-Trying to intimidate opposition opinion into shutting up

or

3-trying to just start a riot so democrats and the media can finally run wild “mob” meme and perhaps instill a little marshal law at these meetings.

It’s probably a combo of more than one of those. I guess #1 is a given.

Not only will Obama fail to be re-elected, he may very well lose the democratic nomination to Hillary. Nancy Pelosi and the far left fringe in the House have all but guaranteed a bigtime drubbing in 2010 and make Obama’s battle for re-election more challenging (if that’s even possible).

We are witnessing a political implosion unprecedented in our lifetimes.

Going down as the worst president in better than 100 years will be tough to swallow for an unaccomplished, inexperienced, chicago thug community organizer. He’ll only be 51 when he loses re-election. The self-absorbed, celebrity seeking failure of a president will have many years to endure the ridicule and disdain Carter experienced following his disastrous presidency.

I just bought a video recorder today. I put it on my plastic. Did I want to? Hell no, I would prefer not to spend a damn dime in Obama’s ecnonomy. But I did it anyway, and I’ll take it to every event I can get to.

Tuesday is Claire McCaskill’s “listening” event in Hillsboro, MO. The one near St. Louis on the same day was cancelled because someone at the venue was afraid of violence or something. It was a school. For the love of God. So fine, I’ll drive a couple of hours instead of 20 minutes to watch Claire “listen.” and I’ll take my video recorder.

Do I have things I’d rather do with my time? Damn straight I do. But if we let Thug-in-Chief Obama destroy our country, then someday my grandchildren and all our grandchildren will say, “Why didn’t you do something?”

I have a friend who is contracted to defend Teamsters in criminal cases. I suspect the SEIU thugs have similar coverage. They probably all have records. And I bet they get paid to appear at these places, too.

The Left has one opportunity: denounce this thuggishness, step away from authoritarianism, and end this insanity of trying to push stuff on the American people.

The ones doing the punching, the intimidating, the violence is not the Right, not conservatives, nor the center.

Civil debate requires civility.

Remember that the American people are better armed than any other people on this planet. If this goes to the Purple Shirted Left killing someone, then defending your right to be civil becomes operative and paramount. That is what being a citizen is all about… not becoming a subject.

Those of us who are against Obama and the union thugs need to prepared to answer the following questions from the original 3:15 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWnxlFbYjVY&feature=player_embedded video:

.
1) Why is a union thug (black man, purple shirt) already on the ground in the original video even before we see Gladney getting thrown down? This same man was later seen walking around holding his left shoulder like he was in pain. The conservative later says that the black unionist “attacked me”. Did Gladney knock him to the ground while defending himself?

.
2) Why does the original video show Gladney walking around seemingly not in pain and without a limp, but later we hear he went to the hospital with mulitple injuries and today he even show up in a wheelchair with his left knee bandaged?

.
3) When confronted by a white man saying “You attacked that guy for nuttin”, the union thug (white man, purple shirt) first says “He hit (unintellible)”. Later he says “He attacked America”.

.
4) What happpenned immediately prior to the video starting?

.
Our opponents will surely ask these questions. Let’s have some explanations ready.

Can you imagine the national uproar if a white conservative went to an anti-war rally 5 years ago and assulated a black man selling peace flags at the rally and then someone assaulted a women who was filming the disgusting acts? Whoever did that would be crucified by the media and the ACLU would demand they be sent to prison.

Has anyone seen a report about this anywhere other then “tempers flair at St. Louis town hall”?

cadams on August 8, 2009 at 4:57 PM

I was at this rally in the St. Louis heat today at noon. My son observed four young men who had shown up for a “counter-rally.” He overheard them bemoaning the fact that they were the only ones who showed up. The protest against SEIU being sent out to shut people up and was held outside the SEIU offices in St. Louis. We could see people peeking through the blinds on the second floor. No purple SEIU shirts showed up. The cops had easy duty, covering a rally of conservatives who ended the day with a prayer and “God Bless America.”

It may be that these thugs feel that they can force their opinions on us by sheer threat of bodily harm or worse. Well, folks. I’ve been in pain before. It isn’t fun but it is survivable. As far as the “worse”? I have had to consider my own mortality as well. I know where I’m going when I die. As far as the woman I was before I took Jesus as my Savior, she is already dead.
