New video from St. Louis town hall beating

posted at 3:56 pm on August 8, 2009 by Patrick Ishmael

The hits just keep on comin’. Literally.

I’ll pass along the details of who the camerawoman was, who her batterer was, and what has happened since when I get them. In the meantime, Jim Hoft and others are covering the protest held in support of Kenneth Gladney outside the SEIU office.

As the image below suggests, you can bet on it: this is not over. Click the photo for more of Josh Schroeder’s Gladney rally photos.

I have been saying this kid of thing would happen with BHO and the left in charge. He has been saying he would do this even on the campaign trail and people didn’t listen.

Remeber this? He said he would do it.

People like Beck were right. This is happening right before our eyes. Notice what the media shows, and what they dont show. They havent shown this side of it, but they sure do their best to paint to opposition to the Health Care bill as ‘mobs’.
Things are getting worse right before our eyes. This isnt America. Americans have a voice in the real America. In Obama’s America, ACORN, SEIU, and Union thugs have a voice. Opposition is humiliated, shut down, and destroyed.

This whole thing is just so not right, it’s like it’s out of a movie. I still cant believe this is happening and being allowed to happen. I shouldnt be but I still cant believe Obama is allowed to get away with this. This style of politics is pure Chicago, radical thuggary.

A while back there were news stories about two resorts, the Greenbriar and The Homestead. The Greenbriar was union and the unions were driving it into bankruptcy. Meanwhile the Homestead, non union, was full to capacity.

I’m not sure if the greenbriar was SEIU or not but, you know what, I’m going to start asking before I book anywhere.

Excellent idea

bullseye on August 9, 2009 at 12:40 PM

Yea; It is looking bleak. The largest group of lying thieves EVER in Congress; A media just as full of lies and deceit as the current administration; Passing(?) (ramming through, unilaterally) legislation (ultimatums) that is more costly, raises taxes, and does not comply with the overwhelming opinion of the electorate; And we aint seen nothing yet. These lying thieves are going to start attacking the freedom of the press next, to attack the freedom of speech from the flank. You have already witnessed how they will attack, blaspheme, ruthlessly investigate, and denigrate individuals and families, whom have nothing but a disagreement with their ideas. Really low, but, they’ll get lower to accomplish their ultimatums.
Are these goons getting counseled in this strategy from Russia? The Taliban? Can’t be too far off.
Boycott is right; But this is only the beginning!

Not all unions are bad but I will agree that all Public employee unions should be unconstitutional. They should be barred from voting on any bond issues or other ballot issues that effect their pay.
In California the state and public unions have virtually taken of the state legislature.

Union “goons” are often recruited from the lowest IQ people available. Intimidating size and stupidity seem to be the only prerequisites. Of course like a pit bull, loyalty to the union is a must.

They can basically be made to be harmless by entertaining them with shadow puppets on the wall.

Jeff from WI on August 9, 2009 at 4:51 PM

The tactics used by this administration have been used before … many times. Russia, China, Germany, Central America, Cuba, Venezuela and now here.

darwin on August 9, 2009 at 5:19 PM

I think conservatives should form a nationwide union (no dues of course, strictly voluntary) and have members go to town hall meetings and beat Obama’s thugs and supporters to a pulp.

Sound good? I mean if the President and Secretary of HHS approves of this tactic it must be cool right?

The CFA … Conservatives For America

darwin on August 9, 2009 at 5:52 PM

Kenneth was beaten, kicked and called racist names by Russ Carnahan’s SEIU supporters after a town hall meeting on Thursday.

These actions by the democrats were a disgrace and there is hardly a better example of their pathetic hypocrisy than the silence coming from the “speak truth to power/no justice no peace” crowd.

I love the picture at gatewaypundit of the chairs for the NAACP and ACLU that sat empty. Nothing but liberal mouth pieces who don’t give a dam# about truth and justice.

We need to keep this front and center to expose liberals for their selective hysteria and faux moral superiority that is just a mask to cover up the fact they will sell anybody out to push their liberal ideology.

The proponents of the intimidation tactics have badly miscalculated, and it is only a matter a time when they will get theirs, both politically and literally.

If this is what we can expect for the next 6-12 months, I can guarantee you that 2010 is going to make 1994 seem quaint.

Jeff from WI on August 9, 2009 at 9:32 PM

Now the Teamsters and the mob are a part of the conspiracy to give you health care?

What – they break your leg then offer you free medical coverage to fix it (or you can choose to continue using your current medical coverage).

That has got to be the most ridiculous conspiracy I have ever heard. You ‘beaters’ are worse than the ‘troofers’.

Mr Purple on August 9, 2009 at 11:15 PM

Mr. Purple

Liberals will break your leg to sell you a crutch and then demand you pay them to keep the mean old conservatives from coming by and taking your crutch. This is patent Marxism, get into the system and destroy it to make the field ripe for Revolution.

So yes, it fits. SEIU are union goons. I booked with a Union. I know the union mentality. This is it to a T! The disrespect for individuals, the overinflated feeling of self importance, the feeling of entitlement and the belief that you are perfectly entitled to commit violence.

You see this similar action in Venezuela, Iran, Cuba, China, North Korea, Russia and many others. Anywhere Tyranny raises its ugly head the tyrants have to beat the people into submission.

This is not about healthcare. It is a carrot and if you don’t bite the carrot you get the stick. This is about power. Power over the people, their health and their well-being. About the implimentation of an ideology born of envy and jealousy.

The fact that you whitewash over the obvious fact that an SEIU goon beat a man tells everyone what you are here for. You are here for the purpose of spreading propaganda, at the behest of the entire apparatus that Obama has at his beck and call. You are an Obama Apparatchik.

I have read the bill. It is not about healthcare reform. It is about healthcare control. Anyone who reads this bill with their freedom in mind sees that. You do not. You are obviously an Obama Apparatchik, anyone with a semblance of critical thinking ability can see that you are spouting the party line like any good Apparatchik does.

Here is to you, and my hope that you suffer an embolism when you read this post.

Wanna see something funny?

Check out the comments on the SEIU website on their “Stop the Violence at Health Care” statement.

The SEIU statement paints the SEIU as the good guys, and “teabaggers” as thugs. Pretty much as expected.

But the comments are pretty much all in favor of the Tea Partiers and against the healthcare bill. You would think that there would be more internal support and argument, since we would be “trolls” there. But there’s not.

The public sentiment on this is heavily in our favor. The media and unions will try to carry the liberals’ water, but they can’t do it if we don’t let them. We must keep getting through to the Blue Dogs.

SEIU union members are employed at your local grocery stores, hospitals, everywhere, not just your hotels and restaurants. Considering that restaurants and hotels employ a lot of illegal aliens to do the dishes and cleaning, perhaps that is how one could tell whether the facility employees union members or not. Either way, it stinks. Unions were all begun by Socialists who used the downtrodden laborers for their own power grab. Today the unions have completely corrupted their original purpose for being; they are the embodiment of lust for power.

A lot of Americans this summer are doing the “Stay-cation” at home doing day trip events rather than the whoopdydoo big spender variety of travel this month. September looms with very dangerous portend to the dollar and our economy.

Buy your non-perishable food supply, water and emergency kits.

Catch the new Drudge headline on Obama’s “Justice” Dept. catastrophe. Holder is out to prove Pelosi’s defense that the CIA lies all the time. He’s closing GITMO and denying that jihad ever was, let alone is what we’ve learned it to be from the Islamic radicals, and that there is no “war on global terrorism”, that terrorism from abroad is a myth. All this even though Obama is to spend twice as much on his Afghan war as Bush spent to deliver Iraq its self determined democracy.

SEIU is also involved in the war profiteering that the left is always chattering against.

Recently over dinner, a SEIU member plumber who did 3 tours in Iraq, told me, SEIU was taking $82,000 off the top per member hired out to KBR (Kellogg, Root and Brown) for Iraq. I’m not sure from his statement if that was a one time fee, or, on an annual basis.

Lower level labourers were being paid as little as $82,000 over there. SEIU was potentially getting half the workers pay for doing nothing while the workers risked their lives.

He hates SEIU and says they’re crooks. He was injured in IRAQ and now is having a hard time getting the surgery he needs. And, he is getting no support in his disability claim after years of union membership. I guess he is no longer bringing in the money for them.

trollkiller on August 10, 2009 at 8:32 AM

I almost went to the Burgess Townhall this past Saturday because I heard ACORN was probably going to be there. Burgess is already against the plan. But I didn’t because I know that I would get in a fight. If someone hit me, then I would get in a true fight, and that is not going to do the movement any good and I do not want a record.

Gladney’s in a WHEELCHAIR? HA HA HA HA HA THAT IS SO FUNNY

Video shows him getting thrown to the ground. He springs back up. The end.

Booboo bandage on his knee – no sign of injury in the video. He walks around without an sign of a limp.

Claims he got punched and kicked in the face – not a scratch on his face or shaved head.

The ambulance chaser attorney letter is especially hilarious. How come Hotair people aren’t calling him out for calling this a hate crime? You’ve all shat all over anybody who ever makes that claim.

What a joke Gladney is. Someone should introduce this whining, lying piece of sh*t to that whining, lying piece of sh*t from Pittsburgh who said she got attacked and someone wrote on her face. They make a perfect couple.

I do think that as upset and distressed as people are feeling, they should try and keep their emotions in check somewhat, but at the same time this outpouring of emotion is genuine and forces the media to pay attention (good or bad).

We got saltmines in Texas … I wonder if they can retrofit them to make it possible for them to be used as work camps ala Stalin? Or will these folks just use the old “we’ll beat ya up until you shut up or die” method of persuasion? Sad. This is just sad. And scary as hell.

Bill Blizzard on August 10, 2009 at 11:58 PM

President Barack Hussein Obama dispatched his Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and his deputy to “fix” this situation of townhall demonstrations. The president needed to provide Congressional Democrats with “some cover” and dispatched his friends from the SEIU to Russ Carnahan’s assistance in Missouri.

The President of the United States, with this action, unsheathed the sword of the state and leveled it against the flesh of the American Citizen. As a result of this action on the very same day, Mr. Ken Gladney, a black conservative man, was subjected to racial slurs and physical assault leaving him injured and hospitalized. His offense–selling buttons and flags. “Don’t Tread On Me” was the message.

One has to ponder whether or not the President arrived at this decision after much thought and anguish–similar to that of President Abraham Lincoln, when contemplating the strategy of the Civil War, in which thousands of Americans were fighting each other and rending the leadership abilities and morality of the president. Moreover, one has to consider if the President now bears a tinge of guilt, as President William Jefferson Clinton did or should have, after the Branch Davidian Raid in Waco, TX where dozens of people died as a result of a fire and failed assault.

COL Nathan R. Jessup in “A Few Good Men” arrogantly denied ordering the beating of PFC William Santiago at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The beating was meant to “teach a lesson” and to correct a Marine who was stepping out of line in his platoon. The resultant scandal rocked his command and the Marine Corps resulting in his XO committing suicide. COL Jessup denied making the order right up until the point when the JAG lawyers pressed him to answer for it–and this pressing forced the mask to slip revealing a deeply angry and resentful man whose actions up until that point were merely to maintain a facade of a dedicated Marine commander who acts only to protect his country. COL Jessup is a great object lesson into President Barack Obama insofar as the facade, the mask, the anger and the resulting injury to someone he was tasked to care for. President Obama is tasked to care for Mr. Ken Gladney, just as he is tasked to care for all of us. This episode has shown his willingness to derelict his duties in the pursuit of his own agenda.

President Barack Obama must answer for the Assault Heard ‘Round the World. President Barack Obama must be questioned in regards to the assault of Mr. Kenneth Gladney.

As Tom Cruise boomed to COL Jessup, “I WANT THE TRUTH!”

……and so …do….we.

Don’t Tread On Me.
