If you believe the new Quinnipiac poll, The One’s approval rating on health care among people 55 and older now stands at a robust 38/52, which is actually a few points higher than his numbers among those aged 35-54. (Among those 35 and under, he’s at 44/48.) Likely explanation: The GOP ‘turfed the sample.
The head of New Hampshire’s Democratic Party is promising “significant push back on these thugs” who disrupt The One’s health-care message, so once we find out who these subversives are (and who sent them), presumably reprisals are on the way. If you recognize any of them, you know what to do.

Just noticed on Drudge that the White House has said the “War on Terror” is over. In keeping with national defense policy that seeks to avoid a two front war, it only stands to reason that, as President Obama begins his “War on the American People” that the War on Terror would have to end.

As a senior citizen, I am most offended by the condescension of the AARP spokeswoman. She did not appear to have half the brains or one fourth of the patience of the seniors that I know. The best laugh I’ve had all day was when she yanked the mike. Immaturity at its best. Don’t mess with seniors. Seniors, cancel your AARP memberships.

I don’t have speakers here, so I’ll listen to what they said at home, but why is some young blonde lecturing to seniors about what they need? Doesn’t she need to get older to realize what the elderly really want?
Like others on this site, I’m over 50 (53 to be exact) and have received lots of mail from AARP, which now pollutes the nearest landfill. I will NOT pay dues to Democrats!!!
But Shhhhhhh–don’t want AARP to know how many stamps they wasted–keep those cards and letters coming in, straight to my circular file. The more stamps they waste on me, the less money they can donate to Democrats.

I cancelled my parents’ memberships and as a side note I told the operator “Omar” that they should be ashamed of the way that they are treating their members; that I have seen the town hall meeting with the lardass posing as a professional and that I’m certain that they will be receiving many more calls. There are supliment plans available other than these idiots that really don’t care. Call them and cancel, or just call them to tell them you don’t appreciate elder abuse, which comes in many forms.
