New DNC ad: Mobs of right-wing lunatics want to feast on your flesh

posted at 12:15 pm on August 5, 2009 by Allahpundit

A video version of yesterday’s communique from DNC headquarters about mobs of right-wing extremists whose extreme mobbiness threatens to mob ObamaCare with extremism. All that’s missing are the captions you used to see in trailers for 50s horror movies. “THRILL to angry conservatives walking around with signs. TREMBLE as a woman holding an American flag yells at a congressman. SCREAM as Democrats absorb one one-millionth the degree of demonization George Bush suffered over eight years.”

No need for outrage, though. Instead, celebrate the fact that even with a Democratic president, a filibuster-proof Congress, and the lure of “free” ice cream in the form of socialized medicine, the left’s somehow managed to turn ObamaCare into a clusterfark of such epic proportions that their health-care message has now actually been reduced to “Don’t listen to the Republicans — they’re crazy.” Apart from Josh Marshall characteristically wetting himself by describing the townhall backlash as “civic vigilanteism” (sic), my favorite reaction comes from Tapper, framing the astounding demagoguery you’re about to see with the understatement only a studiously dispassionate newsman can muster:

While offensive and even racist posters and protestors have shown up at too many of these town halls, it’s not clear that they represent the mainstream of those who have organized to exercise their First Amendment right to speak any more so than the liberal protestors who compared President Bush to a Nazi represented mainstream liberal thought, or even the mainstream of anti-war protestors at any given event.

Indeed it’s not clear, especially with 52 percent of respondents telling Quinnipiac that The One’s handled health care badly. But enough blather. After you watch the DNC’s 50s horror movie, be sure to watch the B-picture the boss posted last night about what extremist mobs really look like. Exit question: Which right-wing nut warned yesterday that left-wing extremists might want to dial it down a bit themselves? Answer here.

With polling news like this,it is no wonder they have to make up stories and create bogeymen concerning Americans who want honest and responsible government:

(Via Ace of Spades)
http://www.quinnipiac.edu/images/polling/us/us08052009.doc

In polling news, Quinnipiac’s

American voters, by a 55 – 35 percent margin, are more worried that Congress will spend too much money and add to the deficit than it will not act to overhaul the health care system, according to a Quinnipiac University national poll released today. By a similar 57 – 37 percent margin, voters say health care reform should be dropped if it adds “significantly” to the deficit.

By a 72 – 21 percent margin, voters do not believe that President Barack Obama will keep his promise to overhaul the health care system without adding to the deficit…

American voters disapprove 52 – 39 percent of the way President Obama is handling health care, down from 46 – 42 percent approval July 1, with 60 – 34 percent disapproval from independent voters. Voters say 59 – 36 percent that Congress should not pass health care reform if only Democratic members support it.

Voters are split 39 – 41 percent on whether the President’s health care plan will improve or hurt the quality of health care in the nation, with 14 percent saying it won’t make a difference.

72% of Americans don’t believe Obama will keep his word!!
Only 6 months in and “Hope and Change” is a bust.

Imagine what these numbers would be like if the press did not have their lips pressed so firmly to Obama’s butt.

Epic fail.

The media needs something to run with like the Bogus “Kill Obama” threat that was reported by outlets like the WaPo but found by the secret service to not be true.

Of course with liberals, the truth or facts is not necessary.
Just continue to say the same things over and over and over again until enough of the sheep repeat it as fact.

This is what the media ignores while it promotes liberal propaganda:

Anti-Prop. 8 Mob Watch: Christians in San Francisco’s Castro district

By Michelle Malkin November 17, 2008 04:23 PM
http://michellemalkin.com/2008/11/17/anti-prop-8-mob-watch-san-franciscos-castro-district/

Afterwards, she didn’t rejoin us in the circle, but she made friends with one of the people in the crowd, and really connected heart to heart. Roger got death threats. As the leader of our group, people looked him in the eyes and said “I am going to kill you.”, and they were serious. A cop heard one of them, and confronted him. (This part is kinda graphic, so you should skip the paragraph if you don’t want to be offended.) It wasn’t long before the violence turned to perversion. They were touching and grabbing me, and trying to shove things in my butt, and even trying to take off my pants – basically trying to molest me. I used one hand to hold my pants up, while I used the other arm to hold one of the girls. The guys huddled around all the girls, and protected them.

Where was the WaPo,NY Times and MSNBC during this sickening display by the “smart ones”.

Not to be outdone, lets beat up elderly women we disagree with.

Notice the men that are also standing around but the morally superior liberal goes right after one of the Golden Girls:

Obama Supporter Assaults Female McCain Volunteer in New York

As the media fumes over nonexistent hate at Palin speeches, it ignores leftists who go berserk on city streets.
http://pajamasmedia.com/blog/obama-supporter-assaults-female-mccain-volunteer-in-new-york/

While the Democrat-leaning media continues to scare undecided voters with bedtime stories about some mythical angry McCain supporter whom nobody has seen, here is a real district attorney’s complaint documenting an unprovoked assault by an enraged Democrat against a McCain volunteer in midtown Manhattan: “Defendant grabbed the sign [informant] was holding, broke the wood stick that was attached to it, and then struck informant in informant’s face thereby causing informant to sustain redness, swelling, and bruising to informant’s face and further causing informant to sustain substantial pain.”

The overly formal document doesn’t mention this important detail: the victim was a small, quiet, middle-aged woman wearing glasses, and the attacker was a loud, angry man who went into orbit at the mere sight of McCain campaign signs.

It is not dissent that Republicans disagreed with over the last 8 years.
It was pathetic, sick crap like this that made Americans mad.

They will do this again because they can get away with it.
It does not matter whether it is true or not.
The liberals will get a couple of days of 24/7 coverage to get this bogus slander out there and when it is disproved,it will end up on page 18b of the WaPo and not a word of it from the MSM.

What I find so funny is that Liberals harp on humanitarian issues and slam the previous administration on trumped up charges.

Where were they when Bubba bombed Bosnia or stood idly by while Rwanda went to hell? How about Somalia where Bubba cut and run.

Liberals are an unmitigated disaster and once it all comes apart at the seems, we can get rid of the biggest enemy of our Republic. Thanks Obama, you are about to do what the conservative insurgency has been unable to do, destroy your ideology.

It was worse than that. “Blackhawk Down” happened because Clinton’s Secretary of Defense, an anti-military former Congressman, refused to allow our troops to have tanks, armor and C-130 gunships on the basis that these items would be too provocative to the local population. So we sent troops into downtown Mogadishu in un-armored Humvees.

Of course, it was George HW Bush who had the genius idea of sending our troops into the middle of Somalia’s civil war on a humanitarian mission in the first place.

We had no business intervening in a 12th Century muslim sewer; but if we were going to put our troops in harm’s way, we owed them the weapons and rules of engagement they needed to stay alive.

Well duh. The best thing to do would have been to let those towelheaded cavemen kill each other off, but he was getting harassed to do something. He caved to the know-nothing bleeding hearts (first mistake) and then tried to fight a politically correct war (second mistake, repeated twice by the later Bush).

But Obama told us how great community organization was and that it was an effective method to elicit change. Now they tell us only Democrats are patriots if they organize and protest? Everything was polite, no screaming or yelling, people wanted ANSWERS. Kingston made a presentation pro and con, then took questions from people lined up at the mike. Only one jerkoff was there, a college professor, who babbled but who had his question answered and shut up. No attendees were paid, although most were overdressed according to Barbara Boxer. I just read Michelle’s piece today about this. Oner thing that got my attention was her grouping of the AARP in with the unions and ACORN, etc. as being backers of Obama and Obamacare. That little detail seems to not be getting nearly enough play anyplace.

To borrow a phrase from Obama, let me be clear. If you are a business owner that continues to offer any sort of AARP discount, you are economically suicidal. I am old enough now to join AARP, but refused when I saw them supporting socialists like Obama. Any right thinking conservitive whould refuse to support AARP in even the smallest way. With their support of Obamacare they have crossed a line in my opinion. I plan to refuse to do business with businesses that advertise any support of AARP. That will include stores, hotels, restaurants, etc., that offer an AARP discount.

Funny ad. Great reminder of what utter failure the GOP represents.

Mission Accomplished!

simplesimon on August 5, 2009 at 8:19 PM

AAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWW…isn’t this cute.
Another BushHitlerHaliburtonMcChimp liberal that’s got her panties in a wad because Americans want answers that the DNC is afraid and to inept to give.

By a 72 – 21 percent margin, voters do not believe that President Barack Obama will keep his promise

6 months in and 72% of Americans already consider your Messiah Obama a liar.

Life must be fun in the rabbit hole you live in.

Reality, you should try it sometime.

Baxter Greene on August 5, 2009 at 11:57 PM

Hmm… perhaps a class action for defamation against the MSM and DNC?

LASue on August 5, 2009 at 11:07 PM

I think the private citizens shown in the video should sue.

AARP and many doctors DO support reform.

Listen with an open mind.

AnninCA on August 5, 2009 at 10:44 PM

Both my parents are members of AARP and neither wants government-run healthcare.

Most doctors do not support it either.

Sapwolf on August 6, 2009 at 12:25 AM

If or when someone somewhere gets physically violent about his/her represenative dissing them, photographing them, or just refusing to even listen, then Hussein will announce a “crisis” and in the wake of continued violence – think the 60s anit-war protests, delcare martial law. From there it is only one pronucement to suspending elections, the Constitution, and banning all political parties save the Democrats.

Friendly21 on August 5, 2009 at 7:37 PM

If he did though, that would be civil war and he would have fired the first shot.

And when he does, that is our call to launch assaults on every ACORN office in the country and every gun shop/warehouse. We make every effort to peacefully convince the local police to join or stay out of the way.

I don’t think they are that stupid to do something that foolish, except for Pelosi.

We must be ready if they do.

Sapwolf on August 6, 2009 at 12:31 AM

Well I guess I am a birther and a mobther now.

I believe Bill Ayers was involved in terrorist activities. So I am an Ayerther. I believe that the UN Oil for food program was corrupt. So I am an Oil-For-Foother as well.

I believe that Acorn was involved in election fraud. So call me an Acorther.

I don’t believe that Obama has created or saved any jobs. I must be a Nojobther.

I believe that Jihadists want to destroy the US and Israel. I must be a jihadther or a jewther.

Oh well.

Geochelone on August 5, 2009 at 6:43 PM

Geo,

You are ….an…American!

Sapwolf on August 6, 2009 at 12:35 AM

This just might be one of those civil wars where the damn rebels fly the flag of the damn union.

Bizarre.

Sapwolf on August 6, 2009 at 12:40 AM

The DNC really does need to get a clue. The MOBS around here that I run with are very bipartisan, we’re coming after the RNC too, and we don’t play nice and we don’t fight fair (we read your book ;). Ever wonder why the military stops taking people when they’re over 42 years old? Because that’s about when you realize that “Rules of Engagement” is a bunch of BS. Winners Win! Losers Negotiate.

Pole-Cat on August 6, 2009 at 1:02 AM

Surely, there’s a group of doctors with the resources and the STONES to produce an ad, vehemently opposing Obamacare? C’mon guys – SILENCE IS NO LONGER AN OPTION!!!!!!

Fishoutofwater on August 6, 2009 at 1:42 AM

I miss Hawk.
I hope he is staying strong and things are going well.

I would love to know what he thinks of the ROE in Afghanistan
right now.

Baxter Greene on August 5, 2009 at 11:48 PM

There was a thread here a few days back sending best wishes to him and his company. They sounded pretty down over there. I won’t speak for him, but I got the feeling it’s turning into a charlie foxtrot of the first magnitude.

Fighton03 on August 6, 2009 at 1:47 AM

Wow! GOP mobs consist of old ladies and over weight men in Bermuda shorts!! Be scared America!! Be very scared!!

JellyToast on August 6, 2009 at 8:02 AM

celebrate the fact that even with a Democratic president, a filibuster-proof Congress, and the lure of “free” ice cream in the form of socialized medicine

Don’t forget the money to buy our cupcakes each week!

Katec on August 6, 2009 at 10:09 AM

Lloyd Doggett (democRAT – Austin) will hold another town hall today at 2PM in Austin, and another this Saturday.

Bleed_thelizard on August 6, 2009 at 10:46 AM

Actually…

$787 Billion already spent…Where is the Money?
9.6% Unemployment ……. Where is the Jobs?

I’m a registered Dem, and I’m asking these questions!

This is no longer about Bush and his Policies. Bush left office 7 months ago just how much longer do you need to see some improvement. Even Husseins approval rating has slipped below 50%!
