But FWIW, I think it’s too soon to pat ourselves on the back. The Dems want socialized medicine very badly, and these so-called ‘health reform’ bills are considered an essential step. And Obama and his eco-fascist ‘science’ advisor desperately don’t want to go to Copenhagen in December without a ‘climate change’ bill. They have a lot of ‘stimulus’ money lying around to buy off recalcitrant Democrats (and even some Republicans?).

Can the expectations of the Press get any lower?

What if this is settled before we even realize it and they do the same with Cap and Tax in the interim…that means they can come back and vote on both measures immediately.

I’m not sure what the passion index is of the populace over cap and tax, but if it’s anywhere near like it is over ObamaCare they (the Dems) would be wise to not want to go through all of this stuff again.

We are making more and more people see the man, and not the myth. He and his movement are frauds, built on houses of cards. Keep pushing! Keep fighting!

Cap’n: in writing about the prospects of the 112th Congress, you count too many chickens that haven’t been laid yet, much less hatched. There’s only one party around that could screw up an opportunity like this. . .and that, unfortunately, is today’s GOP. Maybe somebody/some organization will come along to help us to the light, but for now you’d be a fool to bet on significant changes in the midterms. This activism today is driven by issues, not by party. The GOP assumes this will benefit only them at their peril.

And don’t forget: the cards are stacked against the GOP in a manner that other mid-terms didn’t have for the out-of-power party, which is the fact that flat-out voter fraud and voter disenfranchisement activities have essentially been approved by this administration.

“To win, you need not be better. . .just willing to do that which your opponent will not” Conservatives’ electoral opponents clearly don’t mind undermining the foundation of democracy to get/hold their power. A GOP candidate will have to hold an overwhelming popularity in the congressional district in order to win any election. . .until such time that someone is able to get ACORN put in their place

Hit them harder. Hit them faster. But most of all, keep hitting them!

I don’t want to get any messages saying that we are holding our position. We’re not holding anything, we’ll let the donkey’s do that. We are advancing constantly, and we’re not interested in holding onto anything except them. We’re going to hold onto them by the nose, and we’re going to kick them in the ass. We’re going to kick the hell out of them all the time, and we’re going to go through them like crap through a goose.

By god I almost pity those poor sons-a-bitches!

If he can’t get healthcare done, or cap and trade, or card check. What next for the relentless campaigner? All he has to look forward to is economic data going from bad to worse. What will the naked emperor do?

Ok… that does sound kind of fishy, doesn’t it.

Sigh… I’ll mail myself to the snitch czar.

But as far as I’m concerned opposing carbon regulation in any form is a litmus-test issue. These people have to be stopped.

This is the “old way” of doing things. It goes like this–get a cheap political victory, then rest on laurels.

No way, no how folks. Cap and Trade and Obamacare need to be smashed, disassembled, investigated, reported and followed all the way back to the keyboard from whence they were spawned. The guy who authored these things needs to be questioned, tried for treason then run out of town. Then his keyboard needs to be destroyed and files deleted. Then, any class or committee that he or she once sat on needs to be disassembled and these ideas must be followed back down to the end of the dark hole where they crawled from. If, and only IF, you can convince us that this apparatus is in complete disarray–only THEN–you could convince us that this was dead.

Start your march, sharpen your knife and pursue this with the ruthlessness of a Marine clearing a house.

Take it apart–congressman by congressman, district by district and line by line, tear it apart.

Go light some fires.
