Video: I see white people

posted at 4:22 pm on August 1, 2009 by Allahpundit

Fart jokes, racial politics, and the original score from “Night of the Living Dead”? He might as well have called it “Post This, AP.” Done and done, sir.

Before you watch, food for thought from fellow “race traitor” Shelby Steele about the true teachable moment from The One’s Gatesgate clusterfark:

Where race is concerned, I sometimes think of the president as the Peter Sellers character in “Dr. Strangelove.” Sellers plays a closet Nazi whose left arm—quite involuntarily—keeps springing up into the Heil Hitler salute. We see him in his wheelchair, his right arm—the good and decent arm—struggling to keep the Nazi arm down so that no one will know the truth of his inner life. These wrestling matches between the good and bad arms were hysterically funny.

When I saw Mr. Obama—with every escape route available to him—wade right into the Gates affair at the end of his health-care news conference, I knew that his demon arm had momentarily won out over his good arm. It broke completely free—into full salute—in the “acted stupidly” comment that he made in reference to the Cambridge police’s handling of the matter. Here was the implication that whites were such clumsy and incorrigible racists that even the most highly achieved blacks lived in constant peril of racial humiliation. This was a cultural narrative, a politics, and in the end it was a bigotry. It let white Americans see a president who doubted them.

Mr. Obama’s “post-racialism” was a promise to operate outside of tired cultural narratives. But he has a demon arm of reflexive racialism—identity politics, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, and now Skip Gates. You can only put a demon like this to death by finding out what you really believe. We should hold Mr. Obama to his post-racialism, and he should get to know himself well enough to tell us what he really means by it.

Some see bigotry, others see racial opportunism. Either way, don’t tell Matt Lauer.

I nominate that video as Zo’s masterpiece to date. Who’s with me?

“Must be that Mexican I just ate.” Funny as hell.

Fed45 on August 1, 2009 at 4:37 PM

But Allah, you ruined the final punchline by putting it in the headline. What gives?

What does Zoe know, the guy is a race traitor.

They were missing the splashes in the toilet. Trust me, that’s comedy gold.

This is absolutely Top Shelf. Later on, and with a bit of fine scotch, I’ll raise my glass to Zo and his health.

This made me think of Breitbart and his insistence on the importance of conservative insinuation in the arts.

God bless you too, Zo.

Eirenic Rebel on August 1, 2009 at 4:42 PM

Black people are so tiresome these days.

I just shrug my shoulders, look away and walk on. It’s too much work even to engage on a superficial level.

Obama is not post-racial, but post-truth-ial.

The music during the last minute or two reminded me of Michael Jackson’s Thriller. I was about ready for some narration by Vincent Price (who, in his day, was one scary white person).

Outstanding!

5*Stars!

The only way to show these Liberal racists,is to show
exactly how they act, think, and behave, through this comedy
style skit!

Problem is Obama,Gates and Rev.Wright, will never get this
skit,as a matter of fact,I have know doubt that they will
view it as racist, they just can’t help themselves, after all
your talking of being brainwashed,of Liberal doctrine and
education, and years of community organizing activism that
has been drilled into them!!

Witness Michelle OMama Obama(for the first time in my life)
and Rev.Wrights(G** D*** America)anger towards their own
country, not just disgust, but an absolute HATE!!!!!!!!

These skits, will doubt enrage those that don’t get it!

Keep’em com’n,bring it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ha. I LoL’d.

The white dude in the bathroom and later as zombie has mad skillz.

SilverStar830 on August 1, 2009 at 6:20 PM

I was once ticketed by a white, self hating Uncle Tom of a Bakersfield police officer for driving over the speed limit. Why do they always have to target the white guy for speeding? (It was a speed trap and I should have challenged it because it was at the edge of the city limit, but I was speeding.)

There is real racism and it sometimes involves police, but the Gates case is not an example of that no matter how hard he tries to nail himself to that cross.

Zo’s video is hilarious. He’s come a long way since his first videos on youtube.

spmat on August 1, 2009 at 8:14 PM

I think it was stupid that a guy got arrested for nothing more than shouting at a cop in his own home. I despair that race came into it and I don’t think it was right for Mr. Gates or others to infer that the cop was in any way acting racist or behaved a certain way because of race. Those accusations are stupid but not against the law. The arrest was stupid. Once Gates showed his ID which clearly had the address of the house on it the matter was resolved but he ended up getting arrested. Some of that is Gates fault but getting arrested is not like getting a ticket. It’s taking away someone’s liberty.

lexhamfox on August 1, 2009 at 8:16 PM

lexhamfox on August 1, 2009 at 8:16 PM

Just to clarify:
1. Not in his own home – on his porch in front of a crowd. Rather large difference when you consider–

2. He was yelling about police racism in front of a crowd (falsely, as we all now know) but the point is: he could have started a riot. He refused to listen to warnings to calm down.

3. He wasn’t dragged out of his house. He followed the police officer out, who was leaving, to yell at him some more.

4. He wasn’t arrested for burglary, but for disorderly conduct. If you don’t like the law against disorderly conduct because you think it inhibits free speech, please feel free to take it up with lawmakers, not the one enforcing the law.

TBinSTL on August 2, 2009 at 4:49 AM

Zo does, yet again, another masterful job and with great artistry on a slim-to-none budget. I have seen far better backed productions look far, far worse. You have to wonder if he did a low-budget production if we would have another THX1138 or The Duel on our hands… ahhh… the man needs a budget… not a big one, but enough to get an hour and a half done and edited.

On the Gatesgate, I like TM’s bit on JOM back when this first started which points to the problem that the Left has with its views:

So – do feminists and domestic violence experts agree that if the man of the house shouts at the cops that everything is cool so get out, the cops should simply leave?

So the ever-present police are supposed to always be there to intervene in domestic violence, but leave when someone yells at you to leave when investigating a possible B&E? The police who arrive cannot ascertain if this IS a B&E and then when they find out it isn’t they have a very disturbed and possibly violent man left behind them… the police are not mind readers. They cannot know the domestic situation at the residence and often spouses and children will cover for abusers. If the police had just left and this HAD been a domestic violence situation where a spouse was violating a court order to stay away from home, we would have gotten those on the Left decrying that the police went away from an obviously disturbed man and wanting ever more intervention and pro-active policing and calling this racism that the police, led by a white officer, would leave such a situation.

The police should be ever so mind-reading capable and sensitive to intervene in possible domestic violence.

The police should be ever so mind-reading in stepping away from a very similar set of circumstances to be ‘sensitive’.

I can tell you where to put the mind-reading, hindsight is 20/20, sensitivity junk. The sun does not shine there.

ajacksonian on August 2, 2009 at 6:45 AM
