Change: Obama’s approval rating hits new lows in Gallup and Rasmussen

If it had been either of the two, I would have tacked this on as an update to Ed’s Pew post. But both on the same day? He’s down to 52/41 in Gallup and dropping like a stone over the past 10 days thanks to Gatesgate and his health-care clusterfark, and in Rasmussen he’s already below the line at 48/51. And that 48 isn’t real hard, either:
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 28% of the nation’s voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty percent (40%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -12. That’s the lowest rating yet recorded for President Obama.
No wonder he’s ready to drink with Gates and Crowley. If my numbers looked like that while I was trying to push my signature program, I’d be getting hammered too. Fortunately, he’s got an ace up his sleeve he can use to get back in America’s good graces. When the people turn on you, it’s time to give them what they desire above all things: Porn.

Obama’s apparently now (or soon) to have his beer summit w/Gates and Crowley. He just told reporters that he’s “fascinated with the fascination” surrounding the whole thing.
Obama doesn’t understand American or Americans. He has this narrow, parochial view of this country, seen through a particular lens. Even if he wasn’t a racist and a socialist, he was never the right guy for the job. He truly doesn’t get America. It’s a mystery to him.

One of my big concerns with Mr Obama has long been that when the adulation turns to mockery and sneers he will seek to prove his manliness and authority and, of course, his importance by being militarily bellicose.
I think he is too immature, too proud, too ignorant, too prejudiced and too narcisstic to be a safe in such a powerful position.

progressive…your comment on violence in the streets is one I agree with, but even it took on new meaning for me yesterday after I visited a site where it is openly talked about. On this site they are providing names, license plate numbers and such(openly on the site) as they “turn in” fellow workers, students and neighbors who dare to speak out against their Messiah. They apparently think that an execution or two at a Tea Party will help to restore peace and order. Can they be taken seriously? IMO yes. They are supported by groups such as the Anti-Defamation League, Southern Poverty Law Center and the Democratic Socialists for America, ect. The New Black Panther Party also figures in heavily. If it is race wars and violence against dissenters that they want, then they are almost there. It will get extremely ugly. The site I am talking about ..?

I actually saw Bawney last weekend at the Lowell Folk Festival in Masachusetts. He was sitting off to the side at one of the stages while a great Western Swing band from Hollywood, The Lucky Stars, were tearing up the stage.

I see. I don’t know about that site (I did take a look). The idea that the Anti-Defamation League is part of it is the tip-off that it isn’t real. The other groups could easily support that sort of stuff, but the Anti-Defamation League would never touch any of it with a ten-foot pole. I’m with battleoflepanto in thinking Paul supporters having a laugh. But there were groups not disimilar to that on the idiot messiah’s campaign site, which is much more spine-chilling. And they were definitely not jokes.
There is violence coming. It is coming because of the state of our nation and it is being fueled by The Precedent and his junta, as chaos is their ultimate goal. The Precedent just wants to take the US down, to get back at whitey, basically. The fact that Holder is still at Justice is another spine-chilling fact, along with all the other sick people in the administration and the band of lunatics in Congress who don’t seem to understand anything but are only concerned with socializing this nation and turning us into a socialist, democratic superstate with not sense of individual liberty.
As to your ip address appearing on that site, anytime you go to any web site, they have your ip address (as they could never deliver a web page to you without it). Generally I wouldn’t worry about this, but if you are concerned about some sites, then only visit them from some ip address not attached to you – like from a cafe wireless connection or piggybacking off of someone else’s wireless that you can connect to.
