(for those playing along at home, here's a relevant excerpt from the Wikipedia entry on "legal fiction" that has some bearing on the question I'm asking of Good Lt: )

"Adoption: One of the most common and easiest to understand examples of a legal fiction is adoption. Once an Order or Judgment of Adoption (or similar decree from a court) is entered, one or both biological (or natural) parents becomes a legal stranger to the child; that person or persons are legally no longer related to the child and have no more rights to the child than any other non-relative. Conversely, the adoptive parent(s) are legally considered to be the natural parent(s) of the adopted child; a new birth certificate reflecting this is issued. The severing of the original parental relationship(s) and creation of new parental relationship(s) is a legal fiction.

One more time, in plain caps-ed English.

THE CERTIFICATE OF LIVE BIRTH IS A VALID FOR THE PURPOSES OF CITIZENSHIP AND NATURAL BORN CITIZENSHIP VERIFICATION (A BIRTHER CONCERN), INCLUDING FOR THE PRESIDENCY (A BIRTHER CONCERN).

Good Lt on July 27, 2009 at 10:35 PM

It would be true that a CERTIFICATION of Live Birth would ALWAYS be valid for the purposes of determining natural-born citizen status (a relevant concern for eligibility for the Presidency of the United States)....

... IF it were the case that in every single instance, the location of birth listed on such a certification actually matched the actual place that the person in question was born (and matched the unedited long-form birth certificate as well).

I have a simple question for you, Good Lt. It should be easy to answer, and there is no good reason that I can see for you not to answer it directly.

Do you believe that in EVERY CASE, that whatever birth location is shown on someone's Hawaii Certification of Live Birth matches where that person was actually born... with NO EXCEPTIONS?

It's a yes-or-no question, and it's very relevant to pointing out one of the vital distinctions in this matter. Understanding this issue might illumate why some people are interested in seeing an archival image of the the unedited long-form birth certificate for BHO, which should include a
doctor's signature if he was born in a Hawaii hospital as claimed.

Looks like my comments with links are being moderated. Maybe a certain number of links trips the moderation sensor.
If so I need to have my documentation in separate posts. Makes it hard to make a concise summary of the information with sources, but oh well.

If you had evidence to support your delusions, you’d have linked to it while listing items 1-5.

>>>
I see my post on here this morning so maybe it was held in moderation for a while last night.
2)Tape recordings of Grandma and Ambassador saying Obama was born in Kenya.

I posted the evidence for the Grandma last night and now the tape recording of Ambassador Ogego can be accessed at:

http://www.edgefielddaily.com/news112708_1.html.

3)Two different hospitals Obama has said he was born in.

http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=103465

http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=104718

4) A selective service registration shown to be false because the manual serial stamp doesn’t match the manipulated electronic record - actually says it was printed in 08, not 80.

http://www.debbieschlussel.com/4428/exclusive-did-next-commander-in-chief-falsify-selective-service-registration-never-actually-register-obamas-draft-registration-raises-serious-questions/

5) A registration form for an Indonesian school saying Barry Soetoro is a Muslim Indonesian citizen, the son of Lolo Soetoro.

Let's try that again...

Not nonsense...Fact Check.org = Annenberg. Annenberg = Annnenberg Challenge. Annenberg Challenge = O'bama.

BTW, if you are going to cite a "court ruling" as proof of something, then you also have to admit that Iraq played a role in 9/11. A Clinton-appointed Federal Judge in NYC ruled in 2003 that they played apart in the attacks.

Except that it’s more than you’ve produced or will produce about anything ot do with this conspiracy fantasy you’re invested in.

He'd be a hoot in a court of law, wouldn't he?

"Your honor, that evidence is inadmissible because it comes from the other side."

I have to wonder why Obama and his administration is allowing this story to continue when it could be ended with him signing a release for the documents to put it to rest.

My guess is they are using to show how there are 9/11 truth-er types on both sides and will continue to keep propagating this hoax because it helps distract from what he is doing.

Good morning sunshine!
One more time, for our late to lunch Leftist college kid sleeper cell posters
I love the cute little names you come up with for people who understand what conspiracy theories are and who point out that you aren't actually supporting your conspiracy theories by not citing evidence while "asking more questions."

a news article from a pro-O’bama newspaper is not evidence of anything.
Except that it's more than you've produced or will produce about anything ot do with this conspiracy fantasy you're invested in.

Other than the childish surnames (in this case, one suggesting that people who are schooling you on this conspiracy theory are akin to sleeper cells of terrorists) you give to people who point out that you have no clue what you're talking about, or that you're fodder for a running national joke.

Niether is anything from FactCheck.org, because they hired O’bama.
Except that it is because you haven't refuted the content - you're just dismissing the source as "pro-Obama" outright and are pretending you don't have to address any of the content.

Until I see "Del Dolemonte's comprehensive, point-by-point refutation of the evidence he claims is not valid, meaningful or clear," I'm sticking with the evidence we have.

And Snopes? (laughter)
Another source deemed "invalid" by Del Dolemonte because...well, it presents evidence he hasn't refuted and it's "pro-Obama" or something.

Laughter is what the nation is doing to the Birthers.

Now ponder why.

Nonsense. And now an official government document complete with a thourough government investigation and a court ruling wouldn't suffice because...they hired him.

The Paulians are the only ones that can dent the tea party and 9-12 movement and they’re doing their best.

lol...the Ron Paul movement came up with the tea party idea in the first place, not the NeoRepubs.

Of course, most of this skepticism about the birth document has to do with our complete lack of trust of the media to perform proper due diligence for us.

Had this rumor surfaced about Sarah Palin, the NYT, WaPo, NBC, etc would be crying and whining so loud, that freakin’ Hawaii, health-department official would invite them all over to the islands for some poi and pupus and a quick look. Oh wait a minute, the records were destroyed in 2001.

This is such freakin’ bullshit. Just make all the asshole’s documents available, since he is the most transparent president evah.
