If you want to see the future of ObamaCare, look to the past. I highly recommend a comedy series from the BBC in the early 80's called "Yes, Minister" (followed by the series "Yes, Prime Minister") that dealt with the insanity of bureacratic government. The following episode dealt with a government-run hospital that had 500 administrative staff, but no doctors and no patients. As a result of this health care reform debate I’m really rethinkig some of my past positions:

1. ABBA had good melodies.
2.They came across as very nice, but they needed coaching for their stage performance. The girls can’t really dance or lipsynch and the men’s costumes were cheesy.

Also, under the first proposed bill, the Doctor could not tell the patient that the independent board denied him the care.

That may be what the legislation says, but believe me the patient will know why his care was denied. They’ll be told or they’ll figure it out for themselves. What I’m worried about, and this happens already in the Medicare system, are things retroactively not being paid for. As in, you operate on a patient,and afterward, Medicare denies the claim and doesn’t pay you. That would be a very sneaky way for this Medicare board to cut costs without denying care to the patient.
