Check this link and find the official police report which The Boston Globe has scrubbed from its website (big surprise).

Actually, it’s the Cambridge PD that has refused to release the police report, claiming a FOIA exemption. Why do you suppose that is, if it backs up the officer?

The only group completely backing the cop is his union. Do you believe public employee unions?

I was responding to a jerk in a language he’d understand. I didn’t start the personal attacks and I didn’t use a dead American hero as a trump card in a debate.

A hero is dead and someone who gets a hardon at the sight of a blue uniform uses that death to score political points in a debate. That’s despicable and low.

The poster wants to bask in the reflected heroism of his KIA buddy. That’s distasteful and disgraceful.

I think you were asked if you were a veteran because your childish disrespect for authority makes it obvious that you weren’t.

It’s disappointing how so many posters don’t see that the Cambridge police and Obama are on the same team. You think many cops would refuse to enforce draconian laws passed by the Democrats?

Police unions are the loudest whiners when municipal budgets must be cut, and they’re the first to use scare tactics about loss of police “protection” at the same time that they will deny they have any obligation to protect you and your property.

I haven’t seen you post on this site too much before this morning. After spending a few minutes desperately trying to see some positive aspect to your contributions I am ready to concede. Your methods for presenting your opinions are poorly structured and — at least those comments on this thread — could easily be considered offensive. What you lack in substantive argument you make up for in baselessness.

So please demonstrate, using formal logic, how my opinions are poorly structured.

Frankly I find the notion of a society where innocent people have to kowtow to the police for fear of arrest despite no criminal activity to be far more offensive than anything I’ve said here.

Why would I not want to call someone who works for me?

The police are public servants who resent serving the public.

1. Admits he doesnt know the full account – but claims cops acted stupid, yet admits “I may be biased, Gates is a friend of mine”
2. Claims racial profling was to play here by saying “blacks and latinos are disproportionally arrested and profiled
3. Claims he would “have been shot” had it been his home in Chicago
4. Claims disorderly conduct cannot happen within someones home, namely to “a black guy”

I also made a point of including ALL of my personal information and requested a reply.

After the actions taken against a certain reserves major who refused orders to Afganistan till Obymama proved via birth certificate that he’s actually an American citizen, I’ll probably get fired from my job next week. The army rescinded the order to Afganistan but the next week someone had contacted the officer’s civilian employer and had the gentleman fired.

Remember when the LEFT claimed that about Reagan.

I love every one of these people, I love what they do, and I admire them.

However, one problem with defending doctors is that they feel compelled to answer every question. “I don’t know” and “I don’t have an opinion on that” are not in their vocabulary.

Obama is like a doctor on a witness stand. He would have been WAY better off to say, “That is for the Cambridge police and the professor to handle. I don’t have the facts, and I don’t have an opinion. Next question.”
