Alternate headline if Hot Air wasn’t a family site: “Let me be clear: The time has come to drive American health care into a f***ing ditch.” Only the press corps knows what’s in store for the Q&A but The One’s opening remarks will not disappoint. Evidently he’s going to go after Jim DeMint again for daring to suggest that this is all about him even though it is, in fact, and reportedly by his own admission, all about him. Plus this tasty morsel, which we’ll be feeding back to Barry for many, many years to come:
I have also pledged that health insurance reform will not add to our deficit over the next decade – and I mean it.
We’ll have video lowlights later, especially if someone other than Tapper and Major Garrett surprises by asking a tough question. For your drinking-game amusement, I recommend a sip every time he says something that you know he’ll be insisting he never said a year from now. E.g., “But let me be clear: We have always acknowledged the possibility of grandma waiting six years for a hip transplant.” Enjoy.

I was on the treadmill in the gym when The One started speaking. I tried to remain calm. Then he said that he inherited a $1.3B deficit. I began screaming at the TV “You Fuc&ing Liar”. I looked around. A few smirks, but most of the body nazis at my gym are plugged into ipods and thus are in another universe.
Ok, I can just chill out and keep doing my workout.
A minute later he came out with the “we saved the economy’. I began screaming at the TV again. I had to leave. I cannot any longer watch or listen to the man in public. Someone is going to turn me into secret service. It’s that bad.

I’m wondering about these skyrocketing costs he keeps talking about. My insurance copays went up $5 to 25, 35 and 45. Same with perscriptions. So it’s not the insurance companies
(at least not my Blue Cross) it’s the fees for services that are skyrocketing.

Pretty much if they didn’t use that exact word the Cambridge’s mayor apologizy for the police behavior answering a 911 call, could have easily had that adjective/comment inserted in what the governor and mayor said publically = The police were stupid, whites are the racist. (???). Both were pleased that the cops dropped the charges with their hand twisted behind their back probably. I didn’t hear if Obama said Stupid because I kept inadvertently blurting out ‘Liar’ as I was watching the response to his last question.

BTW, Obama has finally selected a church–the Chapel at Camp David. Since he spends more time in Paris, he should have chosen the Cathedral at Notre Dame. This President doesn’t “get away from it all” at secluded places like Camp David; he prefers spending taxpayer money livin’ large. He probably won’t attend church again until Ted Kennedy’s unlimited HC ration stops resuscitating him successfully.
