NBC is living down to expectations.

They love this issue. Better to waste time discussing Obamacare or Cap-and-Trade.

I hate false modesty, it’s just another way to lie. You didn’t get a wiki entry (and probably this job) from talking about mom jeans.

Newsbusters is reporting Katie Couric asked Oh about illegal immigrants and his health plan and his response was “No, except for children” would be covered. That liar. You can bet “illegal immigrants not covered” would be directed to John Edward’s favorite legal malpractice corporation, John Edwards.

Hey Cindy, can’t stay long but the big news is, in case you haven’t heard, is that we’re actually trying to lose the war now. Big departure from the last CinC.
And oh yeah, there’s still a majority of media bias. Yeah, we wouldn’t have known that without another thread to tell us.

1. Tried to phone a friend
2. Wanted a multiple choice question
3. Asked the audience (violating Rahm Rules For Obama #1- Never talk to the citizenry if we haven’t pre-approved the script)

That’s a tough one. Peace with honor isn’t what it’s cracked up to be. When Saigon fell the husband was years removed but it didn’t stop the pain of all those deaths for what amounted to a loss. I wish you had to time to tell more, we hear little of the war because love for The Won outweighs any bad press.
Cindy Munford on July 21, 2009 at 9:59 PM

Why don’t we talk about POLITICANS NOT GETTING THAT WE DON’T WANT SOCIALIZED MEDICINE.
President Obama and fiscally conservative Blue Dog Democrats in the House reached what one of the Democrats, Rep. Mike Ross, called a “small breakthrough” on one of 10 contentious issues that threatens to torpedo a major health care reform bill.
The Blue Dogs hold a large number of seats on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, which canceled a vote Tuesday on health care reform legislation. Obama and seven members of the coalition agreed in principle to create what he called an independent Medicare Advisory Council, Ross said.

The state of anger surrounding all this spending, any Congressman without a solid constituency would be insane to rush this through on the filthy liar’s agenda. Frankly, they are attempting to push it to the Senate where the divide is deep enough that it will die in its current proposals.

David2.0 on July 21, 2009 at 11:22 PM
Attacking her vanity is all well and good—but my vicious streak where Michelle is concerned needs something more meaty!(pardon the pun, it was accidental, honest) I shall hold out the hope that she speaks out politically before her one term hubby is history.
jeanie on July 21, 2009 at 11:34 PM

Jim Treacher on July 21, 2009 at 11:35 PM
Why should she be mouthing off? The filthy liar’s plan to make America into a socialist utopia under a dictator is right on track. If anything she’s probably nagging him that he didn’t get Ford when he took over GM and Chrysler.

Well, we’ll see. She is already complaining that her role as 1st lady is not effective enough and she need to do something to complement her husband’s efforts. I don’t know what is keeping her in check—but the real Michelle is the one we saw and heard during the campaign.

If there’s one thing the Empress Consort understands from her rearing on Klinzhai it is Imperial Navy Protocol….her job is to rule from behind the silk curtain through fear and terror she instills in her sock puppet.

sven10077 on July 21, 2009 at 11:49 PM
If you’re right I’m going to have to find another hobby since attacking Michelle was my favorite. My own personally applied ground rules do not allow me to attack her unless someone else does it first OR she puts herself out there politically(and yes–that is a pitiful attempt at ethical behavior). Besides, I don’t think the arbiters of this blog approve of unilateral and un-provoked attacks on her person.

I loathe the man. Won’t even watch the f-ups, which are fast and frequent.
I can’t recall ever detesting a president in my lifetime.
This one has set a new standard for complete and total
abhorrence.
betsyz on July 22, 2009 at 2:20 AM
This is good, too. How many people really think that Obama could get past the very first questions on this show?
How many of you would have complete confidence that he’d successfully coordinate your own family picnic?
I’m serious.
betsyz on July 22, 2009 at 2:25 AM
I HATE shopping. (I know, I go against the grain of my gender, but that’s how I am.) My secret wish is to have new and fashionable clothes just magically appear in my closet. I would also like the pantry and refrigerator stocked by themselves, as I can’t get out of any store soon enough.) Don’t go thinking and assuming that I have some
phobia about being out in public. It is not people, it is shopping I dislike.

The hell with the jeans. I still can’t get past the girly-man throwing motion.
We paid to fly him and his entourage out to St. Louis for that photo op? I’d have expected that he wanted to show off some heat.
Sorry, just as the press oogled over his shirtless beach pictures, Obama needs to get ridiculed for that throwing motion. I’m embarrassed.

califcon on July 21, 2009 at 10:05 PM Ha HA about trading a pair of jeans for a better home in Kenya.
But you know with the economy He is creating here, The One and his loyal liberals will leave us in worse shape than the Kenyans.
Also, did Stinking Sinking Sycoplant Couric ask The One who signed the Zimmerman Telegram? Or the three major economic phases of the Clinton administration? Or how many states we have?
He probably knows about the all important “Bush Doctrine” but I wouldn’t bet on it. I know that it was vital for Governor Palin to understand it.
See? I never mentioned that the “Certificate of Live Birth” was NOT a birth certificate.

Is there a way I can help with that care package to Hawkdriver? He deserves our best.
I believe that he is flying support for the 82nd Airborne Division to the east of Kandahar. The flying conditions for any helicopter in that part of Afghanistan are almost the worst in the world. It’s hot, high altitude flying, amid very high, rugged mountainous terrain. And that’s on a good day.
There have been 1 Soviet Mi-8 helicopter crash at Kandahar (with 16 dead) and two jets down in the last 4 days. Two punched out safely at the Tornado crash on takeoff Kandahar, but the F-15 crew of two were killed.
