Awesome: Voters laugh out loud at Democrat’s promise that ObamaCare will save money

posted at 6:45 pm on July 21, 2009 by Allahpundit

Comedy gold via the boss with a little something extra tacked on below for your amusement. I don’t want to raise expectations but I think we’re nearing the point of egregious ObamaCare lies where even the White House press corps might be good for a snicker or two tomorrow night. Tapper seems like a jocular sort per his Twitter posts; how’s he supposed to keep a straight face when Obama once again calls this travesty a cost-saving measure or insists we’ll be able to keep our current insurance even though private insurers will eventually be run out of the marketplace?

Judging from the audience reaction, I’m guessing these crowds were disproportionately Republican. Or were they?

Blowback

If you listen to the questions from any audience they always seem to be of a different sound quality than the main dais mike. Wouldn’t you have laughed at such an absurd statement that everyone there knew was a lie? Also, today Rush played a question asked of BHO about keeping your doctor and insurance plan under his new healthcare bill and BHO said “Actually I am not familiar with that provision”! Good God!!!!!!

Why doesn’t Congress have to be on it?

.
Ouch!

They honestly seem shocked that they have no credibility. Poor things.

No! It’s a “Jobs Bill”, now. Lots and lots of jobs!! This is the latest incarnation. Then, late next week, it will be an “investment” that is expected to have a

“profit and earnings ratio” of 32.9756wj7cucumber887

No one knows what it means, but it’s good!

progressoverpeace on July 22, 2009 at 1:40 AM

Situation normal for the libs in Congress.
The audience is laughing at you asshat.Which part don’t you get? Apparently Franken isn’t the only clown in Washington, but this guy is actually funny
Of course,we all know that Katherine needs the same thing as Barby and Nan.

I’m so sad the Democrats are having such a difficult time with their biggest supporters.

The pain these voters must feel.
The remorse must be too much to bear.

Hopefully some come out of the democrat-induced coma and enter the conservative world.

Can you imagine how scary it is if these morons actually believed the idiotic statements they make.

Yep. It’s already begun. The Obama Regime is falling. The question is, will they allow themselves to be defanged and then expelled peacefully?

Or will they blatantly rig elections via their thugs and manipulation of the census?

Obama is so authoritarian, petulent, and in love with himself and his own alleged brilliance I wouldn’t be surprised if they at least attempt that.

Fortunately Obama is also proving himself to be the Supreme Leader of the Gang That Couldn’t Shoot Straight…

Laughing at Democrats (and RINOs) is the perfect strategy.

Tonight’s presser ought to be good for a few laughs too.

I am still pessimistic about the alternate media having the numbers required to foment the kind of patriotic zeal required for a real revolution. The dissatisfaction we are seeing now is a result of people coming to the realization that the promises just aren’t coming true, but that doesn’t mean they have abandoned the big-eared freak. They are just worried. That in and of itself is a good thing, but it’s not enough to drive a revolution. We need leaders and they aren’t stepping up strongly…yet. If they don’t come forward soon a lot of this dissatisfaction will dissolve into apathy and fear and we will lose any advantage we thought we had.
I won’t hold my breath waiting for the state-run media to desert the sinking ship, but if it should, I will then have reason to celebrate, because that will be the sure and certain end of the the fantasy they created.

They’re already rigging elections around the country. They’ve blatantly rigged elections in Washington and Wisconsin. In Washington six or seven people went to prison but the Democrat still got to keep the office.

Obama’s greatly increased the budget and reach of ACORN already. The Democrats don’t intend to ever lose again. As Malcolm said, “by whatever means necessary”.

Obama recently declared that any govt spending stimulates the economy.

So by that logic, doesn’t his claim that this bill will save money, mean that it will cost jobs?

MarkTheGreat on July 22, 2009 at 9:06 AM

If this guy has even so much as a thimble full of a brain in his head, he will be seriously rethinking his position on B.O.-care and wondering if maybe voting for it will be the equivalent of political suicide.

Because this time he was met with jeers by his constituents.

If he votes for this thing, next time he shows his face, he may be greeted with spoiled fruit and pitchforks.

Instead of wasting their time reading 1,000 pages of Barack Shit (BS), they should read the Constitution and the Federalist Papers (for interpretation) to realize exactly what their responsibility is to the public.

Then, understand that the public calls the shots. Not the politician. We (U.S.) did not put them in their position because we (U.S.) are masochistic and love being told what to do. We (U.S.) put them in their position to do nothing until we tell them to do something that will improve our (U.S.) condition.

The saddest part of this whole scenario is elected officials will look Americans in the eye and lie without any regards of the truth coming into play. They are preying on the blind ignorance of the disenchanted for their own personal gain. The audience laughing at Obamacare is like the Peking students laughing at Geithner explaining how solvent the U S dollar is. This adminustration’s lies and deceptions are becoming so obvious that those with single digit IQs are embarrassed. America is becoming an international laughingstock.
