Medicare actually “was” a working program until the passing of the Kennedy Kassebaum bill in the 80′s. After the passing of this regulation the billing for pathology, anesthesia, , xrays, laboratory, etc related services provided in a hospital setting was outlawed which forced the doctors to bill separately and independently for their services, then to collect the uncovered amounts through collection agencies. This bill ruined the medicare system and started the decline of the healthcare industry. Do you really want a second round of this to completely destroy the private healthcare industry totally, it will happen with this current legislation. This legislation does not need to pass.

Finally! A laundry list of conservative solutions that the Democrats won’t even consider or recognize in the national “debate.”

It’s too bad I won’t see this on NBC/CBS/ABC because I don’t watch government-approved propaganda anymore. I would love to see “AYE WON” yelling, shouting and complaining in frustration as his presidency comes to an ignominious close as a tribute to JimmehCahtahPeenutFahmah.

Concur Cap’n, the “stimulus” aka “porkulus” does provide a mountain of tax-payer provided ammo. However, I’d rather thank patriots like: Sen DeMint, Rush Limbaugh, Dick Cheney et al who’ve been on the front lines attacking the Democrat Machine, when all others were in the honeymoon suite blowing sweet nothins in “BO’s” ears.

DeMint really does need to run for President! He is fantastic! He is one of the only true conservatives that have stuck to his guns through this whole debacle! Even Romney and Newt were for the bailout. DeMint wasnt.

Good to hear the Senator taking it to Obama and laying out all the GOP proposals that have been shot down by the Dems. Now it’s time to state why the Dems are opposed to GOP proposals, the real goal is increased power and influence for the Dem party. If they were really interested in health care for all they would seek a moderate compromise. But they’re simply not interested. They will not allow We the People to fend for ourselves because then we wouldn’t need and therefore be beholden to Democrats.
