DeMint to Obama on health care: How’s that stimulus working out, champ?

posted at 7:15 pm on July 20, 2009 by Allahpundit

A new skirmish in his war of words with The One and a further reason why this debate is, in fact, all about the O: Obama’s track record on speedy trillion-dollar solutions to avert alleged looming catastrophes isn’t, after all, real solid so far. He bet $787 billion in house money on his advisors’ ability to read the economy and lost; no surprise that the public’s leery about giving him a new line of credit. In fact, as perverse as it sounds, if Lindsey Graham turns out to be right and ObamaCare dies on the House or Senate floor, we may have the stimulus to thank. If not for that lesson on how reckless and prodigal the Democrats can be, they might have gotten the benefit of the doubt on health care. As it is, the public’s taking a harder look this time. Bankrupt me once, shame on you; bankrupt me twice…

Do NOT f**k with Jim DeMint, Obama. He’s more intelligent than you, your fug wife, and the wise Latina combined with plenty of room left.

The fact that Obama is tit-for-tatting with a small Southern state’s JUNIOR senator is precious beyond words. DuhOne is truly thin-skinned.

I’m listening to Mark Levin rip the Weekly Standard a new one for their review of his book. Got to agree with Levin.

Blake on July 20, 2009 at 7:21 PM

In his Weekly Address Barack Obama forgot who controlled Congess for the last 2 and a half years.
The New York Times reported:

“I want to be very clear,” Mr. Obama said in his weekly address to the nation. “I will not sign on to any health plan that adds to our deficits over the next decade. And by helping improve quality and efficiency, the reforms we make will help bring our deficits under control in the long term.”…

The same folks who controlled the White House and Congress for the past eight years as we ran up record deficits will argue — believe it or not — that health reform will lead to record deficits,” Mr. Obama said. “That’s simply not true.”
For the record– Democrats have controlled Congress since 2007.

I’ll say it again, as before, this Pinnoichio guy is dangerous. The narcisstic, egomaniacal, affirmative action, liar is like many holding down prison terms nationwide except in Pinochio’s case the damage for him not getting his way and the public turning against him could have far worse consequences than a wife or aquaintance or two taking a beating.
This Pinnochio has at his finger a nuclear trigger and should he decide to take a bunch of folks with him it could get real ugly. I hope the CIA has the solution and a good personality profile for The Pinnochio Presidente.

I mean, can you imagine what this guy could have gotten done with a compliant media, rubber stamp congress and leaderless opposition party if he had waited until he was competent to run for President? Scary.

brainy435 on July 20, 2009 at 7:56 PM

She told the Evening Standard: “I’m not saying you should give a transplant to someone who is in and out of hospital all the time and keeps damaging themselves, but just for people like Gary, who made a mistake and never got a second chance.”

He had recently tried to give up and had signed up for support group Alcoholics Anonymous just weeks before he was taken into hospital, they said.

Yes,, socialized medicine,, how wonderful,,, the government needs to take over our health care because some people are denied care. And how do they pay for this take over?? By denying even more people care.
To all those useful idiots out there,, who love to call talk radio and exclaim like the little parrots they are, “We need a public option because there are people who don’t have health care! Those evil insurance companies are denying people the coverage they need!! Greed! Greed! Profit! Profit!”
Just shut up and read the story. Though it’s just one of thousands,, I doubt it will make any difference to the insane.
