Three points behind Romney after all the attacks? So much for Palin’s political career being dead.

Doh.

They can’t stand her.

She isn’t intelligent and sophisticated enough for their sensibilities.

They are still searching for someone more nuanced who can win.

They still look to Mitch McConnell as a leader.

They keep trying to sell themselves on Mitt Romney, completely ignorant of his disastrous health care reform initiatives in Massachusetts.

But Paul is right about things that Sarah needs to focus on more.

I like and respect both of them a lot.

Of course, these all cost tons of money, but the 15-20 year-olds are too stupid to understand that taxpayer funded goodies aren’t actually “free”.

I think Mark Levin alluded to this in the opening pages of his book on defining Conservatism.

Though Paul should never be considered a conservative and at best is a crank Paleo-Libertarian.

Paul is trying that Old 60’s lie…tying everyone into a country club Republican, part of the establishment…old and tired, but his base will eat it up because they are so “independent”.

The whole M.O.(along with destroying the GOP and ultimately aiding the Democrats) of these Rothbardian/Anarchist cranks over at Lew Rockwell is to be a buffer against the “Establishment”. I think Lew Rockwell admitted as much before.

This includes lying about certain things to advance that agenda. which Paul and Rockwell have both done alot of. These people despised Ronald Reagan and called him a “neo-con” before the Left popularized the term.

That’s not good news for Obama. Exactly 6 months after his inauguration and he’s already at below 50%. I imagine Romney is currently polling better with independents and the more moderate Dems. Personally I think either one would run Obama out of town if the election were held today.

Now… that’s great news !

I wonder whether she’s energizing the 15-20 year olds, Paul muses. That would be a question I would have. Because she doesn’t talk about the Federal Reserve and some of these issues.

There is a growing Populist movement growing in this country and you have people like Ron Paul who are taking shots at folks with in his own party. How is that helpful to his party? The Republicans should have been organizing a better grass roots from the ground up movement the day after the Nov Election….but being career politicians all they can do is blame each other and diminish Sarah Palin’s accomplishments?

I think part of the problem is that Paul has always styled himself as the maverick populist “Republican” on the fringes of the party. Palin is stealing his turf, mantle as a populist and maverick, and fringe Republican voters.

No surprise. He is a complete moron. The only reason he sounds coherent at all is due to the irrational spending spree that’s been continuing throughout his terms in Congress.
