The Latino anti-march protestors were out in full force yelling “Fuck YOU” and lifting their fingers in salute of their number of known parents or celebrating their IQ level (adjusted). It was horrible! Now we find out that Democrat staffers are behaving badly after a Republican staffer somewhere published a “picture” of Obama in the sequence of presidents on a dark background showing just white eyes and white teeth. It’s bad enough for citizens and “guests” to behave like lunatic mobs but when it’s perpetrated by government officials (their staffers are their voices, by extension, unless said staffers are denounced and removed) then the whole idea of “respect for government and the offices thereof” just devolves into gang behavior and mob rule.

It’s getting so bad that government officials should recognize that limiting comment on their government-provided websites and email accounts to constituents only is but another step that intensifies dissatisfaction. I do not know if these elected officials recognize what kind of rage they are dealing with but it seems as if they are oblivious and could care less about being aware of the threat to the union.

Finally, if any members of the Congress are reading, (don’t laugh! they might read all of this even though they won’t read a bill they vote on!) keep in mind that even though you are elected by your district or state, you are voting on laws that affect the entire country and even though we have a republic and you have only to be responsive to the voters in your district or state, do the right and honorable thing and make yourselves available to read all points of view, not just those from your district or state. All of America needs you, not just your particular electorate.

No they don’t. They do not want to hear from us. They hate it when we complain. They can’t be bothered. It is so frustrating, but the only thing that I can think of is to keep on keeping on. Keep on calling, writing, demonstrating.
I have checked my e-mail for the past 5 hours and nothing has shown up from Claire McKaskill’s office.
gopmom: you go girl. If I were younger I would run for office. The bad news is that my Rep. is a tad older than I am and he is a good one.
We absolutely cannot let this ObamaCare go through. We cannot get rid of it if it does. This fight absolutley must be won.

I have repeatedly been laughed at when calling the office of my Rep., James McGovern, D-MA. When I called to encourage reconsidering voting for the stimulus, the staffer would not take my name or information, laughed at me and hung up.

I wrote a letter describing what, when, why and received a printed postcard saying “Thanks for contacting me”.

First off, I tell this to everyone. Everyone. Second, I’m most likely running against him in 2010. (Still meeting with state GOP to see if I can get some support.)

This is criminal in my opinion. definitely grounds for censure and/or impeachment. Has it been sent to Fox? Maybe they’ll broadcast it and force the Senator to respond.

It’ll be great–a real tribute back to the days where we consumers had choices on products that we actually wanted. They may even have a picture of the great donuts that McArthur’s used to make up on the wall. I would have liked the office manager to have had an opportunity to speak without being interrupted. Because of the small area for the protest, I stayed outside of the crowd, but I was told he gave talking points that were unacceptable as to why Mr. Kratovil voted for the cap and trade bill. But he was “brave” enough to face the crowd. Obviously our presence intimidated the staff since a lady there with children said she was afraid to leave the office. It’s a shame our congresspeople don’t feel a bit the same way.

We are planning an August 11th protest at his Bel Air Office from 4-6 pm. I have picketed this office at the end of June and two groups are planning more routine picketing. We need to picket every working day and on Saturday utilizing the tactics of MLK.

The radio here just said that within the next few days, people will be going door to door urging support for the healthcare plan…

And for the cost of those doortodoor Obama advocates, I wonder how many people could receive an office visit from their doctor? Just curious what the costs are as to those doortodoor Obama-Sales people.

I just sent her an email and reminded her that we the people of Missouri voted her in and we can sure as hell vote her out and my preference is the latter. I hope that staffer gets his ass kicked out tomorrow.

Remind her that you pay the rent on that office, the utilities they use there, provide her with a car and gas and expenses, a staff, provide her and that staff with healthcare and retirement and vacation benefits and many more perks. Remind her that you may just discontinue all that if she continues to prevent you accessing the office and the staff ever again displays such hateful, disgusting behavior toward you or anyone else.

Remind her that you need the name of that employee who flipped the double-finger insult and make a point of asking as many citizens to write letters of complaint about it to media AND her office and name both her and that employee when you do (use his and her names, in full).
