Only 3 more days and I will have kept my vow of waiting 6 months into this little turd's term before starting every sentence with "the failed economic policies of Barack Obama...."

Jimmy Carter insulted my strength as an American.
Bill Clinton insulted my morality as an American.
Barack Obama insults my integrity and my intelligence as an American.

6 years in the Navy makes the average person a better BS-er than him. 6 years in college makes most students more knowledgeable than him. 6 years in any private sector job makes most people harder workers than him. 6 years in youth sports makes most people better athletes (and fans)than him. What made this man so unique that he was worthy of election? Answer: his birthright, the most awful prejudice in the world.

In fact, if he had actually applied himself to excellence at any level he wouldn't be afraid to hear other people, to listen to truly great people express their knowledge, and to be photographed listening, which would contradict his public persona as America's Professor and self-proclaimed Architect of our new, fair-minded moral consciousness.

I have been telling my black friends for 7 months they would rue the day they elected the most incompetent jackass in history to become the first racial minority Head of State in the Western world. At this rate it will be a long time before we get a second one....

Sounds like Snowe is already hearing from her constituents and they don't like this Socialized Medicine any better than the rest of us. For the first time in my adult life, I'm proud of Sen. Snowe.

I believe Bambi needs to come out of the " MOM JEANS " and rethink this one. Bless his little heart, the polls are making him emotional. The dems sent a boy to do a mans job, its showing and everyone is in an uproar. Chris Matthews may need additonal stimulus or some other sexual aid.

<blockquote>“It takes time and that’s what I expressed to the president today, that I hope we can have flexibility on the timeframe so that we can make the best decisions possible on this monumental challenge,” [Olympia] Snowe said. “Well, I don’t know that he necessarily agreed.”
In fact, Snowe said, the Senate should wait until after the August recess to give senators time to review the combined Finance and HELP committee package and get feedback from constituents.</blockquote>

Snowe is not the best spokeswoman on this, but she has a very valid point--she and possibly other Senators want feedback from their constituents.

Hmmm...if 47 million Americans don't have health-care insurance, that makes 254 million (84%) who do, who might not take too kindly to being taxed on it, or to be forced to hang on to the same policy forever because the Gubmint prevents them from changing insurers. Then what about all those elderly people whose Medicare benefits will be cut--don't they VOTE and don't they need health care more than younger, healthier people?

Feedback from their constituents? Senator Snowe and others will get two earfuls, and self-preservation instincts will lead many Senators to carefully and diplomatically kick this can further down the road, if they can get out on that road and hear that feedback, and look before they leap.

But that's not the Obama way, to ask people what they think. Thinking people are dangerous to Obama--and he knows it. Gotta jam this down their throats, before they wake up and figure out they've been conned.

<blockquote>Taunting is racist or something.
Remember, too big to argue with and too black to fail.

SKYFOX on July 17, 2009 at 8:57 AM</blockquote>

It's only racist if you're not a minority, otherwise it's bash the majority all you want. Include hate crimes and special civil rights actions to protect the minority as well.

Hear me, Janeane, you stinking racist humbug!

<em>What pressing policy consideration demands that this turd be pinched off before August instead of letting Congress take its time?</em>

This is why I come here for my info. That is a beautiful sentence. The imagery is unmistakable. I recommend HA to everyone I talk to.

Interesting adder. The comments are ballooning to 3 pages awfully fast these days. Dangerous times. Keep at it all you mean people with computers. We have work to do.

If Mr. Obama gets his plan in, the minute it gets into trouble D.C. will dump all of the insurance plans under it's control into his system. They did it with retirement system into Social Security and they will have to do it again.

Can't the White House once again call upon and mobilize to hit the streets Barry's "army" of netroots and activists inspired by his election? Like they did with stimulus and the budget last winter? Answering the White House's call, and emboldened by their hard work and success in electing Barry, an "army" of dozen<strike>s</strike> hit the streets of American lobbying support for his budget.

Even after Barry told his zombies after the election he would be calling upon them again to mobilize to move his agenda, they responded with indifference. One of the more notable epic fails of an administration filled with them.

<blockquote>We’re talking here about his signature policy issue, the most significant domestic legislation that Congress has considered in decades, and rather than take his time and be meticulous about it, Obama’s trying to ram it through as quickly as he can for reasons of either ego or pure political expediency. That “pass something, anything!” approach could be understood (if not forgiven) in the case of the stimulus recovery “stabilization” bill, since the whole point was to start pushing money out the door as quickly as possible — which didn’t happen, natch. <strong>But what’s the excuse this time?</strong></blockquote>

He has to get whatever he can out the door before his numbers drop below 50%, and that implies that after the recess is too late.

We’re talking here about his signature policy issue, the most significant domestic legislation that Congress has considered in decades, and rather than take his time and be meticulous about it, Obama’s trying to ram it through as quickly as he can for reasons of either ego or pure political expediency.
I think there is little chance of reversing this slide into the abyss of socialist tyranny. Even if the republicans grow a pair, there is too much momentum, too much inertial mass behind the Marxist juggernaught for much hope. Obama is riding a tidal wave of taxation, spending, regulation and corruption that is already crashing on our liberty and when it finally reaches the shore will drown every last freedom and with it the last best hope of man. Rahm it through. Welcome to the ACORN nation. Heaven help us.

And in case you haven't read it, from Pat Buchannan:

Taunting is racist or something.
Remember, too big to argue with and too black to fail.

<blockquote>Health Bill Would OK Forced Vaccinations in Private Homes
I had a dream last night. A very peculiar one. I was looking down on congress and it was completely different. Everyone was working as one, quietly and hurriedly, but working as one to repeal all that Obama had done,,, yet going even further. They were moving to repeal more quickly than they are now to push things through. It reminded me like how a surgeon would work who was quietly but quickly working to save his patient. They were not only working to repeal all that Obama had done, but working to remove all trace of his Presidency. Obama was simply gone. He was no where in Washington. Not just Obama, but everyone that was associated with him. There were also massive crowds all around Washington. It was flooded with people but it was all peaceful and congress was doing exactly what all these people wanted. It was a solemn dream,, there were was no cheering,, no happiness in anything. Everything was very serious. Honestly, a very very strange dream. I actually had it just before I woke up.

Wow! Gave me shivers. Hope it is prophetic. That's what I meant about a team. Imagine if instead of all this infighting about A leader, we could support everyone who has roughly the same dream of restoring a Free America.
Imagine Palin, DeMint, Romney, and all of the rest going about serving the Country by doing what happened in your dream! It may take going down this road to destruction for awhile before enough people wake up and realize they don't actually like the fruits of collectivism, but prefer freedom. I just hope it isn't too late. Thank you for sharing that amazing dream...it helps strengthen my hope!

BTW, that forced vaccinations thing is what I have been fearing...these people mean business.

While in Africa, he should have brought back a witch doctor or medicine man with him to the states to perform his miracles. His Rahm it through Congress methodology not working as well as he thought. The Folks getting wise to him and the media and their sorry A$$ lying ways. Maybe he and Charles Gibson and the trill seekers at NBC can have live oral sex again on live TV. How about a week in the white ass with boy king.

<blockquote>When will I hear a Republican say: “Our plan is to stop socialism in it’s tracks.”

When are the repub’s going to grow a set?

David2.0 on July 16, 2009 at 10:34 PM</blockquote>

There is at least one Republican saying that!
It's Jim DeMint, the only truely ethical and courageous politician that I know. His most recent book is called <strong>"Saving Freedom: We Can Stop America's Slide into Socialism"</strong>
Before the Sanford stuff hit the fan, Glenn Beck asked Jim DeMint if he could vouch for Sanford. Jim said, well, he's always been straight with me. Beck asked again, can you vouch for him? Jim, said, uh, no. I don't think I can do that. He knew something was not right about that guy.

He is the one who is consistently, abeit a bit too quietly, standing up for what is right. He gave a talk to the Senate last night on how the "hate crimes" bill (a rider to a Soldier's bill) criminalizes thought. He is a far, far better leader than anyone else we have fighting for us, except for Palin. I'd love to see them team up! In fact, we need to all start teaming up!!

anything this man says has to been done quickly will only give more pain to the American taxpayer..... there is no cure for that pain but to vote these idiots out of office and replace them with farmers, not lawyers.
