Well, I seem to remember Ed getting all into a tiff a year or so ago about on Australian commercial for tampons that featured a beaver as the little mascot. Anyone else remember that one?

Hilarious.

Back in about 1986 my parents got HBO. About 8 months later at dinner, my 7 year old brother looked at my father and said “dad, you need to get a blow job”. After the parents stopped having a meltdown, (and my sister & I stopped laughing our ***** off) under heavy questioning, it was determined that he had heard the term on an HBO comedy special and thought “Blow Job” meant “Hair Cut”.

We still laugh to this day everytime dad’s hair is starting to look a little shabby.

leftnomore, I’m hoping you actually read what I wrote. There’s no such thing as a “bad” word. They are just sequences of letters. Despite the whinings of people who can’t handle such things, the “f-word” is just a sequence of letters, as is “blowjob.” Obviously, people can be damaged with words, in the sense that people can be slandered, libeled, etc. But a word on its own is just letters.

It appears no one waches their shows but it is still offensive

I think the accurate saying is, “If an anchor on MSNBC says blowjob and nobody hears it, does that mean no one is watching MSNBC?”

She makes a point of spitting out that people on the right stress the “rule of law”. Where is she when the need to police the border and remove illegal aliens from the country is discussed? Isn’t that about the “rule of law”, too? Or is that a rule of law that isn’t worthy of enforcement?

Lefties only care about the “rule of law” when it’s a law they happen to agree with. If it’s a law they don’t like, they feel justified in completely ignoring it. Of course, that “reasoning” doesn’t apply to those of us on the other side of the political spectrum. Neat how that works out for them, isn’t it?
