You miss the objective by those who engage in this self-labelling (they’re African Americans, they’re Black Americans, they’re Hispanic, etc.):

their objective is to get “white people” to adopt the “Anglo” term for ourselves. They WANT “white people” to become a marginalized subset of the U.S.A. and a step in accomplishing that is to get “White people” to start declaring we’re “White Americans” or “Anglo Americans” or some such nonsense.

Signed, an American in North America by my DNA since the middle of the sixteenth century (middle of the 1500′s).

So call me an Aborigine or Native American, in that sense, as Native as just about anyone.

Yeah, BUT, Ginsberg’s were in reference to genocide, sympathetic to, the use of to justify Roe v. Wade and her support of that (so, therefore, both).

Especially since Ginsberg’s of Jewish ethnicity, one would expect just a tad more outcry among others of her relationship on that, particularly, outrageous, disgusting perspective (as voiced by Ginsberg).

When I wrote earlier (up in the comments here ^^) that the statement suggests Ginsberg’s mentally incompetent to remain on the Bench, I meant it.

That statement was so far beyond anything reasonable, conscientious or responsible as to indicate that her mind is badly affected. Something is gravely wrong with her.

Leftists NEVER pay a price for their comments. Sotomayor will be appointed baring some major blowout irrespective of her racism. Heck, the Dems went after Estrada on explicitly racial grounds…

Without a media to go after them for their racist, fascist, etc comments, the statements disappear before they ever really enter the consciousness of the voting public.

He’s turned down at least three first pitch invitations since becoming President.

This can only mean one thing – he doesn’t want to be compared to a certain former President who consistently threw 65+ mph shots over the plate. The last one he threw, at a Rangers game after his term was over, was a righteous curve.

I can’t understand how it is that Ginsberg’s ghastly statement has not rendered her incompetent to remain on the Supreme Court. Truly, the statement she made is deplorable, utterly depraved.

Lindsey Graham just said, “A Republican wouldn’t have picked you, Sotomayor. We would have chosen Miguel Estrada.”
And goes into Democrats filibustering Estrada.

This is the message that the GOP needs to be pounding at every opportunity. The Democrats got memos to filibuster Estrada specifically because they wanted to stop a Republican Hispanic from getting on the Court. You then go back and say that 1 of the firefighters who got screwed in Ricci was Hispanic!
