Personally I am just about ready to tell the rep party to ESAD ( Eat Sh*t A Die) , they need to grow some balls or risk losing MORE of us. I am keeping an eye on Palin, if she goes to a third party I may go , I have been with the reps for 30 years +, spent 8 years in the military, either LEAD FOLLOW OR GET THE F out of the way,
Right now the rep party seems to be a ship with out a rudder. It may end up being a ship with no crew.

I like what Graham did there. It’s not an effective tactic, because the MSM will not give it the attention it deserves, but he does make some excellent points. By voting for Sotomayor he establishes a different standard than that of Obama’s left and he actually respects the original intent of the Senate to provide advice and consent. Unfortunately, in today’s political environment, such actions are wasted. The days of the collegial Senate are long gone.

I watched this tw*t on Shep Smith’s show and it took everything in me not to throw a chair thru the tv. I am so sick of this little queer man being the ‘face’ of the republican party….this is the problem. And the fact that he had a problem with Soto’s ‘Wise Latina’ speech was rich…..this is his type of people, La Raza proud and people are bigots because they don’t believe in amnesty…..what a waste of air.

You are right the GOP doesn’t get it (they haven’t proved it yet if they have at least) but it leaves us with an ugly choice.

I really wish if the GOP doesn’t shape up a third party emerges… cause that’s the only way liberalism can be defeated. It has to be a strong, unified third party. One willing to see beyond the differences people might have.

Why do I say this: it’s been the Liberal’s goal all along to divide and conquer. Even a 10 year old can understand that it’s easier to defeat a group of people 1 at a time as opposed to all at once.

All these small third parties don’t get it! They don’t cut the mustard. We need to realize that there’s more that can unite us than those things that can divide us.

I’m by no means an idealist, but any one who proclaims that we must be divided because of a need for a ‘pure’ ideology at this point is committing suicide. Granted, I’m still against RINO’s (they aren’t fighting for us… they’re fighting for themselves. Anyone who says otherwise need look no farther than Arlen Specter.) but c’mon. At this point, I don’t care too much for the niceties of etiquitte. I’m willing to vote for someone who will fight for my liberty instead of selling it wholesale.

Everything else is secondary. We can deal with it later once Liberty is secured again for Every American.

This is what the GOP just does not get.

When they behave in deference to the Democrats (out of fear of upsetting the “middle”), they lose GOP voters. People want a party from the GOP who stands up for and about specifics. If we didn’t, we’d be Democrats.

We don’t want another DNC from the GOP. Every time the GOP go for this “must not rock the boat” thing, they lose support from among voters on the Right. The GOP cannot win without the Conservative vote and they lose more and more of that vote with every move they make to the Left.

Graham was just on a Q&A appearance with Smith on FOX, said that he found “a lot…(that) he liked” about Sotomayor’s stand on the war (as yet unrevealed to me) and that he thought she “couldn’t be any worse than Souter” so he’s actually sounding like he supports her.
