This administration is the biggest joke in the history of the world.

Sadly, our enemies (and even our friends) recognized this immediately. I’m daily losing hope that Obamabots will awaken before this country is gone.

He came out of nowhere and won the WH- evidently he owes an awful lot of favours to an awful lot of people.

This brings us to the supposedly Day One-ready Barack Obama.

I still have to laugh about all the people who were insisting that Obama should be able to take over as president as early as mid-December, thinking there was no reason anyone should have to wait after the election. At look at how long its still taking for him to get his cabinet and everything else together. His term is 1/8th over (Yeah!) and he’s still a newbie.

He sells well over 100% of the country’s shares, and then bankrupts the country to cover his tracks.

Where’s Mel Brooks when you need him?

Oh, come on! Who hasn’t heard or read about this story and not thought “It’s the Chicago Way”? These people aren’t very bright (also, the Chicago Way) if they thought that digging up so many famous people would get them caught sooner or later. Or, maybe, they never heard of Willie Dixon, Dinah Washington, or Emmett Till?

Wonder why SECSTATE wasn’t more involved in these discussions.

Actually these contributor ambassadors are often better than the career Foreign Service types. The contributors at least have a chance of being pro-American.

Ambassadors are in the executive branch, right? If so, it makes sense that the president would be permitted to appoint whomsoever he chooses to these positions. (”Elections have consequences.”)

We can critique particular appointments as questionable, but to side with the “career types” and suggest that political appointments are inappropriate–despite no law that says otherwise–is silly. If anything, conservatives would favor the supplanting of careerists when possible, because these folks simply aren’t subject to accountability by the voters.

I agree. We’ve just had eight years of “qualified professionals” who see their job as surviving and overcoming the elected President. I’d rather have used car salesmen who put their money where their mouth will be–right behind their Boss. If we don’t like their performance, we can swap out the Boss.

You know you’ve overreached when the career diplomats, all who voted for the filthy bastard, have their noses out of joint. Wonder why SECSTATE wasn’t more involved in these discussions.

There are many diff. jobs in the army, from theoreticians to foot soldiers. Both are needed, and never more so than at time of war. Are we at war?

What do you think they were doing? They were working their asses off trying to figure out how to hit the ground running and exploit every aspect of power they possibly could.

“Ooopsie doo. Did little ole us ‘accidentally’ sell three times more appointments than any other administration in history?”

Oh, and we were told it was traditional for the government to print money. But the damn fool forgot to mention that we weren’t supposed to print eleventy trillion dollars all at once!

Even if you assume everyone in Obama’s circle are all idiots (and I won’t argue if you choose to) there are literally HUNDREDS of lifetime beaurocrats whose job it is to know this stuff and brief incoming administrations on it. Is anybody really stupid enough to imagine that someone can “accidentally” institute the worlds largest corruption machine practically overnight.

Bullcrap. Obama has spent his entire adult life working as a bagman for the Chicago Daley Machine. Arguably, he’s spent his WHOLE life since sitting at his radical Communist father’s knee preparing to gut America’s infrastructure.

I’m not saying these people are particularly competent by the standard of people who hold honest jobs. But they don’t have to be conscientious to accomplish their goals – in fact far from it. This is all a gigantic mess, but not one tiny bit is accidental.
