Steven Crowder is back, but only with a preview this week — and that’s because Steven went deeeeeeep undercover for his latest PJTV video. He only went undercover in Canada, so his life wasn’t actually in danger, as one overblown American investigative journalist used to routinely claim. Only his health was actually in danger, because he’s preparing a magnum opus on the Canadian health-care system. The new video will hit the Internet on Monday, chock full of interviews, hidden camera segments, and a look at single-payer surgery:
Steven takes a humorous look at this, especially in the preview, but as with the rest of his work, it’s to make a serious point. CanadaCare doesn’t work for Canada — which is why Canadians keep coming to the US for treatment — and ObamaCare won’t work for the US. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on Monday for the full video.

Somebody needs to rally the seniors and let them know that “Soylent Green” is heading their way. What a sad time for this once great Republic.

Are you sure about that?
itsnotaboutme on July 10, 2009 at 8:56 AM
OK. I’m down. I’ll wait until Monday.

Don’t ever, ever, ever make fun of plantars warts! YEOW!
Go Crowder, go!

Steven Crowder, the Conservative Bruno!

Who would’ve guessed the hope & change promised by Obama would have such hilarious and misguided consequences? Being clueless is obviously something Obama has to deal with on a daily basis.

I just saw the president in a news conference and he said that the revamping of the health care issue is what’s hurting the economy and keeping it from bouncing back. I think that’s a huge stretch.
Cindy Munford on July 10, 2009 at 9:10 AM
How cool! Can’t wait to see it on Monday.

I knew a woman that had them so bad that she needed major surgery and foot reconstruction to get rid of them. She went though a lot of pain not only before because of the warts but after because of the reconstruction and recovery. Even with the surgery there was a chance of them coming back but I don’t know if they would have because she died soon after the surgery.

Crowder spoke at our tea party last week. He was quite good. So I guess I’ll look forward to the video.

Except waaaay gayer.
Rusty Shackleford on July 10, 2009 at 9:14 AM
So he admitted on camera that him and congress doing their jobs is hurting the economy?
jmarcure on July 10, 2009 at 9:14 AM
Even 0:59 seconds of Crowder is always funnier than Pelosi and Reid.
MSGTAS on July 10, 2009 at 9:27 AM
Probably not what he was shooting for. I look at it as just another Henny Penny moment of our current president. He needs to move on to another Golden Book.
Cindy Munford on July 10, 2009 at 9:29 AM
I only had one, but having it removed was the most painful thing I ever experienced (and I’ve had kids).
Laura in Maryland on July 10, 2009 at 9:38 AM
My cousin died of a botched operation for planters warts. They removed material up to his neck.

A root canal with a butterknife is funner than Pelosi and Reed.

I know it is OT, but I have a few questions about the tea parties you might be able to answer. I attended our local tea party on 4/15 and it truly was a collection of angry taxpayer who were concerned about the direction of the country. Afterward, it seemed that the local movement got hijacked by rapid Paulites and truthers (apologies to any I offend).
Are the other tea parties still small government, non-party affilated movements? I keep getting information about some sort of Campaign for Liberty since the Tax Day protest. Are they involved in the national tea parties? What was the focus of your tea party?
I’d appreciate any light you can shed on this for me. Thanks.

I’m so sorry.

Thank you…lol

Steven is so cuuuuute!
I just wanna pinch his cheeks and flop his hair.

I’m not entirely sure about this, but, I believe the Tea Party movement was started by the Ron Paul folks before the election and the bailouts. Now, many of them feel that their movement was hijacked by the GOP. At least, that’s what I get from my Tea Party mailing list where the only discussion ever generated is between Ron Paul supporters and GOP members going back and forth at each other over what the direction of the movement should be (and, by that, I mean, they tell each other how much they suck and how stupid they are but never offer any ideas for a direction for the movement).
From what I’ve heard, the Tea Parties other people have attended have been a lot more well-organized and seem to serve more of a purpose.
JadeNYU on July 10, 2009 at 11:09 AM
I didn’t go to our local Tea Party but it turned into a debacle that I have been reluctant to bring it up since I don’t want to feed the trolls.
Cindy Munford on July 10, 2009 at 11:11 AM
Thank you. That helps clear it up, and with any luck, this thread doesn’t seem too popular with the trolls.
Laura in Maryland on July 10, 2009 at 11:45 AM
Doesn’t appear to be popular with anyone. Conservatives don’t normally do protests so the Tea Parties need to be a bit more scrupulous then the average outing. At least for me to be involved they do.
Cindy Munford on July 10, 2009 at 12:37 PM
I’d appreciate any light you can shed on this for me. Thanks.

I went to the NJ Tea Party in Trenton. They were all angry taxpayers but there was one Paulnut there and he was quite easy to pick out. Mostly regular people mad at Corzine and Obama and Congress.
NJ Red on July 10, 2009 at 1:20 PM
It’s not even a stretch. It’s an outright lie.
But that’s how this White House rolls. Everything press conference, every speech, every document is chalk full of outright lies.
Who’s going to call them on it? Our media? Please.
NoDonkey on July 10, 2009 at 3:14 PM
The burning question is: If health care passes in the United States, where are the Canadians going to go for their medical attention?
PrettyD_Vicious on July 10, 2009 at 3:26 PM
It looks like it might be like Moore’s “Sicko” only this video might include some actual facts in it.
DrAllecon on July 10, 2009 at 6:28 PM
You have to know about the demographics of the msm and their reporting. 5 ACORN protestors bussed in from 100 miles away is a BIG STORY. 35,000 conservatives in a Tea Party is just so “ho hum,” and maybe if you get 1,000,000 people there they will mention it briefly, but as “a few hundred protestors who don’t know why they are there.”
TimothyJ on July 10, 2009 at 7:58 PM
Tell that to Natasha Richardson… :)
