We are getting to them…
Each failure, each Predator attack, makes them even more paranoid. On the road to victory? No. Starting to eat their own. Not a sign indicating long-term success of a movement.
The PSYOPS guys need to hammer home on this…start putting out bogus info and such so AQ can become even more paranoid, less sure of themselves, and more willing to execute their own in order to fix blame on failures. Not a wonderful recruiting tool. Probably why AQ and Taliban and others are recruiting pre-teens these days, just as AQ-Iraq recruited mentally handicapped when the willing jihadi pool started to dry up.

When it was Bush’s “honeypot doctrine” of the last 8 years in Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, the Philippines, aid to Russia in Chechnya, etc. that killed Al Qaeda.
I suggest everyone have a read of a book called “The Looming Tower”. It won the pulitzer and is a fascinating account of how the he** 9′11 happened, from the 1950s to september 10th.

that was actually my exact first thought, that this was a PSYOPS article of disinformation in itself… sorta like the trumpeting of the ucla geography professor last Christmas that claimed to “know where bin laden was”. of course it was the same info cartogrophers in the pentagon figured out in november 2001, but it still was a good shot in their butts for recruiting that “americans know where you are!!!”

Actually in a way I am trying to figure it out, because there were a few demorats who were hounded by the harpies even before the last election.
Not that I think CodePinko is populated by the brain-trust of America, but at least a few of them have to understand the marginalizing they are enduring by continuing to chase Rumsfeldt around instead of concentrating on the bigger issue.

I guess what I’m suggesting is this; some of the fuel that drove Code Pink during the Bush Presidency is gone, simply because, on some level, they think things will be better with their people in charge.

Sounds insensitive, but knowing what I know about the people of Afghanistan, I don’t give a damn about their well-being. They are the most retrograde, primitive Islamists on the planet.
Withdraw our troops, whom the Afghanis malign and from whom they try, on a daily basis, to extort the sort of infrastucture projects they, themselves, are too indolent and stupid to construct.
Then, when the Taliban take over this miserable country again, we should just exercise intelligence and surveillance sufficient to provide us with the ability to make tactical strikes.
And one more thing: with proper protection of our borders and points-of-entry, we could then assure that these wack jobs don’t come to our soil.
