I strongly recommend the movie. It is one thing to hear about stoning in the abstract. It is quite another thing to see it. They couldn’t have found a better actor to play the part of the husband. You could look into his eyes and truly see the face of evil (although I have no doubt that the actor is a perfectly decent fellow).

The other roles were brilliantly cast as well, from Soriah’s aunt to the widower with whom she was accused of committing adultry.

As wren indicated, the stoning scenes are only small portion of the movie, but it had the same look and feel of the Passion of the Christ. While quite graphic, it was necessary to illustrate the pure depravity of what happened.

I was a little skeptical prior to seeing the movie how they were going to pull off a movie about stoning with a complete storyline that consisted of more than just the scenes of the stoning itself. But they did, and they did it brilliantly. Very well-developed storyline

I really can’t wait to see it.

Even better if polls showed that 9/10 western feminists found it highly effective.

Thanks for the scoop. I am not into violence. I will look the other way when the sick, 7th century Neanderthals start flinging the stones. What a backwards collection of freaks. Their values are not compatible with western civilization, or any civilization for that matter.

Don’t miss this movie! It is an amazing perspective on the psychology that leads up to the stoning!

The actual stoning scenes are only about 5-10 minutes of the movie. You can close your eyes if you don’t want to see the stoning portion. (But the scenes really aren’t any more violent than what we see frequently on TV.)

The friends that I have recommended this movie to have called me afterwards to thank me.

Seeing this movie is the first step toward putting an end to this evil practice! Evil happens when good people do nothing!

Don’t think I could take what I expect will be rampant misogny.

Nor could I take seeing Daddy cast the first stone.

However, I will buy a ticket. Maybe two.

We all know, and have been taught, that Islam is the Religion of Peace, Love, Compassion, Tolerance, Mercy, Compassion, and Understanding. No Muslim would EVER trump up charges against his own wife, nor would any Muslim ever trump of charges against his own mother.

Furthermore no Muslim would ever take part in condemning a woman to sadistic slaughter like this, nor would a Muslim male ever raise a hand in violence toward a woman. No male would ever stone a woman to death either.

Surely this entire story is fabricated.

Got to be.

In the mean time, members of gutter religions, like Christianity, Judaism, perhaps even Sikhism, Hinduism, Ba’hai, and Buddhism must keep their traps shut and submit to the Religion of Peace, and hasten peace on planet earth.

Just kidding folks. I was just reviving a prior thread that got rather heated; I just want to say that stoning ugly people is bad too, but not quite as bad, alright, it is equally bad.

I watched a very short part of the clip that showed the actual stoning. I found myself jerking my head back as she was doing. Quit then. Too hard to take. How can people lose their minds to the point where they’ll do this.
