The main reason this nuttery fell flat was largely due to one fact: the respective sovereign nations that met at the G-8 didn’t want to hamstring themselves, and nobody had the economic, political, or military muscle to convince them otherwise against their will.

When that day comes, there will be trouble.

This whole global warming thing couldn’t be simpler to fix.
They just need to pass a law limiting the frequency and severity of solar flares.

BTW, Prince Edward Island is fairly large-over 2,000 square miles, and these lows were recorded not just at one station.
